Latar bdakang : Kebersihan diri ataupersonal hygiene merupakan kebuf,uhan yw perlu dijaga dan diupayakan oleh setiap orang, oleh karena berbagai penyakit @at terjadi akibat kmmgnyamenjaga kebersihan diri, diantarqa adalah kecacingan. Penyakit cacing dapat terjadi pada semua golongan umur, temasuk pekerja sektor pertanian Petani bawang dalam bekerjasehari-hari saogat erat ber&ubungm dengan tanah mulai dari persiapan lahan, penanaman, pemeliharaan dan pemmgubn hasillpanen Mendapakan datamengenai kebersihan diri, dapat diketahui pengaruh berbagai kebiasaafl terhadap kesehah petani bawang, sekdigus dapat mengetahi, apakah kebiasm sekarang dipengaruhi secara jelek oleh kebiasaannya Bahan dan cara : Penelitian ini merupakan jenis peneiitian observasional dengan rancangan cmssectiunal dan menggunakan metode kuantifatiT J d a b subyek peuelitian 340 b u d petani bawang. Data dhmpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner befirrtnrktur mengenai pengetahuan, sikap dan praktek kebersihan diri responden. Uji statistik dilakukam deugan m&an regmsi Jugistik, Clhi-Square pada program SPSS Hail penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buruh petani bswang sebagian besar d a b perempuan rsag telah berkeluarga, yang berada pada Imgkmgan yang tidak sehat serta memiliki kebiasaan yang berpotenei mMCulnya penyakit kecacingau Hasil penelitian memmjukkan hanya 197 o m (5 7,95 %) mempuqai pengetahan yaug tiqgi mengenai kebersihan diri, 166 orang (48,83 %) mernpunyai skip y q baik menj~emai kebmihan diri daa 193 orang (56,77) rnemiliki praktek y q baik mengenari kebersihan diri. Hasil uji statistik dengan logistik regresi terdapat adanya hubungan yans bennakna aatara pengetahuan menjaga kebersih diri dengzm ketersediaan hilitas kesehatan, pendidikau kesehrdzm dan CaJnmSan pe@p kesehntrat (p < 0,OS). Sikap menjw kebersihan diri dengan ketersediaan hilitas k e d a b , dulamgm petugas k e s e h dan ketua kelompok tani (p c 0,OS). Juga ada hub- yang bennakaa dara praktek dengan ketersediaau hditas b edan J cebmds;rm Samjjqga (p c 0,OS). Kesimpulan: Perilaku menjaga kebersihan diri petani bawang di Kecamatan Bulakamba rendah, dan mempunyai potensi muacuhya berbagai infeksi cacing yaag berpengaruh b d terhadap kesehabnaya

Background: Personal hygiene is an urgent need that should be achieved by everyone. This is based on the reason that many diseases can be caused by the lack of personal hygiene, for example is helmid’s infection. Helminths can affect people in every age, includes them who work in the e n g . The onion h e r s in their daily activities deal with the soil, since they have to prepare the land first, then how to grow the onion, how they take care of the plant, and finally how they harvest it. The data deal with personal hygiene can informs us about the influences of habit to the health of onion h e r s , meanwhile we can understand in any case that the poor condition of onion farmers due to their poor habit. Methods This is an observational research by using the cross-sectional planning and quantitative method The sample in this research icludes 340 wokers in onion fknhg. The data waa collected by us& closed q u e s t i o h try to reveal the respondent’s knowledge, their attitude and their practice toward persod hygiene. Statistical analysis is done by us& Regression logistic and chi-Square of SPSS program. T h e R d of theResearch This research showed that the most of worirers in onion fapming are women, who have married, and have children. They live in a poor health envkoment, so that they are more risky to be aff‘ected by the helminthes The result &owed that only 197 workem (57,9596) have more knowledge of personal hygiene, 166 workers (48,83%) showed ti good attitude toward personal hygiene, and 193 workers (56,77%) have practiced personal hygiene well. From the statistical test by us& logistics regression shows that there is a close relationship between the knowledge personal hygiene and the availability of health facilities, health education and support h m health provider (p c O,OS, close relationship between attitude with health kilities, support &om health provider and the leader ofgroup h e m (p e 0,05). Mermwhile, there is also a meanin@ relationship between the -’practices about p d hygie ne and availability of health hilities and the availability of samijaga (p: < 0,05). Conclusion The h e r s ’ attitude to take care their health in Bulakamba Sub-distric is very poor. It has impact to the infection of many helminths and this is harrml for their health.
