PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN JAGUNG GILING TERHADAP KUALITAS DAN KECERNAAN IN VITRO SILASE DAUN KETELA KARET (Manihot glaziovii)

2014 | Skripsi | ILMU DAN INDUSTRI PETERNAKANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan jagung giling pada pembuatan silase daun ketela karet (Manihot glaziovii) terhadap kualitas dan kecernaan in vitro. Jagung giling digunakan sebagai bahan tambahan pada silase daun ketela karet (Manihot glaziovii) yang terdiri dari seluruh daun dan tangkainya. Pada penelitian ini ada tiga perlakuan penambahan level jagung giling yaitu 4% dan 6% dari BK. Data yang diamati yaitu bau, warna, tekstur, pH (14 hari dan 21 hari), analisis proximat, NH3, HCN, dan kecernaan invitro. Komposisi kimia yaitu serat kasar (SK), lemak kasar (LK), protein kasar (PK), abu, serta untuk dilakukan uji in vitro. Data proksimat, HCN, NH3, dan kecernaan yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan Analisis variansi rancangan percobaan Acak lengkap pola searah (completely randomize design), sedangkan data pH dianalisis dengan Randomized complete block design (RCBD), apabila ada perbedaan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan’s new multiple range test (DMRT), keduanya menggunakan program Stastical product and service solution (SPSS) versi 18.0. Rerata perhitungan menunjukkan hasil yang non signifikan terhadap nilai kecernaan KcBK dengan penamabahan jagung giling 4%, dan 6% berturut-turut 59.36±6.35 dan 51.40±10.63, serta kecernaan KcBO berturut-turut 53.86±7.56 dan 50.46±9.77. Penambahan jagung giling belum memberikan hasil yang signifikan (P<0,05) terhadap penurunan kadar HCN. Rerata hasil yang diperoleh dari perhitungan HCN dengan penambahan jagung giling 4%, dan 6% berturut-turut 1287.46±83.31 ppm dan 1239.93±0.95 ppm.
This research aimed was to find out the effect of meal corn used at ceara rubber leaf silage making on in vitro quality and digestible. Milled corn used as additive on ceara rubber leaf silage that consist of all the leaf and steam. Three treatments of additional milled corn level in this research were 0%, 4%, and 6% of dry matter. Observed data were smell, colour, texture, pH, proximate analysis, NH3, HCN, and in vitro digestibility. Chemical compositions were rough fibre, rough fat, rough protein, and ash, along with in vitro test. Data of proximity, HCN, NH3, and digestibility obtained were analyzed by completely randomize design. Meanwhile, the data of pH were analyzed by randomized complete block design (RCBD). If only there were differences, the analysis was continued by using Duncan’s multiple range test (DMRT). Both of the RCBD and DMRT were using SPSS programme 18.0. The average of counting results toward the value of KcBK digestibility with the addition of milled corn 4% and 6%, in series, were 59.36±6.35; and 51.40±10.63, meanwhile, KcBO digestibility were 53.86±7.56 and 50.46±9.77. The addition of milled corn has not been given the significant result yet against the reduction of HCN content. The average of the results obtained from HCN calculation with the addition milled corn 4%, and 6%, in series, were 1287.46±83.31 ppm and 1239.93±0.95 ppm.
