Laporan ini berjudul penyusutan arsip pemilu di Komisi Pemilihan Umum Kabupaten Sleman. Tujuan laporan ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses penyusutan arsip pemilu yang dilakukan di Komisi Pemilihan Umum Kabupaten Sleman dan mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan penyusutan arsip pemilu. Pengumpulan data untuk penulisan tugas akhir melalui tiga metode, yaitu metode pertama adalah wawancara merupakan metode pengumpulan data dengan cara interview dengan pihak-pihak terkait yang bisa memberikan informasi mengenai tema yang diambil. Metode yang kedua adalah observasi dan partisipasi adalah kegiatan melakukan pengamatan langsung dan pengumpulan data terhadap proses penyusutan arsip. Metode ketiga dan yang terakhir adalah metode studi pustaka merupakan pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teori yang ada dari buku-buku sebagai peneleah, dan jurnal serta literature lainnya yang memiliki korelasi dengan masalah yang akan dipecahkan. Kesimpulan dari penulisan Laporan Tugas Akhir ini adalah pelaksanaan penyusutan arsip di Komisi Pemilihan Umum Kabupaten Sleman tidak seluruhnya sesuai dengan ketentuan pedoman peraturan Komisi Pemilihan Umum melainkan menyesuaikan kondisi lapangan. Karena dalam pelaksanaan pemindahan arsip belum tertata sehingga menghambat dalam proses penyusutan. Oleh sebab itu perilaku sadar arsip perlu di tingkatkan dalam masing-masing unit kerja di Komisi Pemilihan Umum agar proses penyusutan arsip pemilu berjalan lancar.

This final report titled The Disposal of Election Records in the General Election Commission of Sleman Regency. The purpose of this report is to find out how the process of election records's disposal conducted by the Election Commission of Sleman Regency and to know the obstacles encountered in the execution of election archieve's disposal. There are three methods which are used in collecting data for the final assignment. The first method is an interview, that is collecting data by doing interview to the relevant sourcers who can provide information which apropriate with the theme taken. The second method is observation and partisipation which mean the activity of direct observation and data collection to the archive disposal process. The third method is collecting data using existing theories on the books as reviewers, and journals and other literature that has a correlation with the problem to be solved. The conclusion of this final report to wit the implementation of the records disposal in the General Election Commission of Sleman Regency is not entirely in accordance with the provision of the General Elections Commission regulatory guideline but it adjusts to the field condition. Due to the implementation of the records transfer has not arranged thus inhibiting the disposal process. Therefore, the records conscious behavior needs to be improved in each work unit in the General Election Commission in order the disposal of election records goes in a good manner.
