Hubungan perilaku pemimpin, komitmen organisasi dan motivasi perawat dengan kinerja perawat di ruang rawat inap RSUD Kendari Sulawesi Tenggara

2001 | Tesis | S2 Ilmu Kesehatan MasyarakatLatar belakang: Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kendari dibangun tahun 1969/1970 dengan status type C, menjadi type B (Non pendidikan) Mei 1999, milik pemerintah daerah dengan kapasitas 205 tempat tidur dan hasil pelayanan tahun 2000 adalah BOR 58 %, LOS 4 hari, BTO 33 kali, TO1 4 hari, GDR 3 % dan NDR 2 %. yang Qdukung 315 orang karyawan. Menghadapi era globalisasi khususnya dibidang perumahsakitan memerlukan persiapan, mengoptimalkan sarana dan prasarana yang ada melalui kepemimpinan yang handal dan perlu didukung komitmen organisasi dan motivasi karyawan, khususnya tenaga keperawatan yang jumlahnya terbanyak, paling lama kontak dengan pasien dan masyarakat serta dapat menstimulir pelayanan kesehatan agar dilaksanakan secara optimal di nunahsakit. Tujoan : Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan dan mengukur hubungan penlaku pemimpin, komitmen organisasi dan motivasi perawat dengan kmerja perawat di ruang rawat imp RSUD Kendari. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah non eksprimen dengan rancangan cross sectional, subyek penelitian adalah individu dari populasi tenaga keperawatan DIII (Akper) sebanyak 32 responden. Alat penelitian memakai angket persepsi perilaku pemimpin dari Podsakoff, et al. yang dimodifikasi Wandrati (1999), Organizational Commitment Questioizaire (OCQ) scale dan Mowday, et a1 yang dipakai oleh Kusba (1999) dan Motivasi perawat dari Herzberg yang dimodifikasi serta peNlaian kinerja yaitu kelengkapan pendokumentasian, observasi pelaksanaan standar asuhan keperawatan Departemen Kesehatan RI (1997). Pengolahan data memakai analisis deskriptif, dan analisis regresi. Has3 : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komitmen organisasi dan motivasi dengan kinerja perawat berhubungan positif yang bermakna (rl 0,653; p 0,001; r2 0,807; p 0,001) dan antara perilaku pemimpin dengan kinerja perawat mempunyai korelasi yang lemah (r3 0,301 p = 0,094). Kesimpulan : Tidak terdapat hubungan antara perilaku pemimpin dengan kinerja perawat, terdapat hubungan posistif anata komitmen organisasi dan motivasi peran-at dengan kinerja perawat Q ruang rawat inap RSUD Kendari.
Backgroun: Kendari Local Hospital was c-class hospital that built in 1969/1970. Since May 1999, this hospital became B class non-teaching hospital with 205 beds capacities. In 2000, BOR of hospital was 58 %, LOS was 4 days, BTO was 33 times, TO1 was 4 days, GDR was 3 %, NDR 2 % and 315 staffs. In facing globalization era, especially hospitality need preparation, to optimaze the existed facility and infrastructure by high-guality leadership that was fully supported by organism commitment and staffs’ motivation, especially nursing staffs that were the most number of power in hospital and who had a lot of contact with patients and society. Objective: The study aimed to describe and measuare correlation between leader behavior, orgnism commitment and nurse motivation by nurse performance in inpatient word. Method: The study was non-experiment study using cross sectional method. Subject of the study was 32 individual of nursing staffs with academic background. The tool of the study was questionnaire of leader behavior from Podsakoff, et al that was modified by Wandrati (1999), organizational commitment questionnaire (OCQ) Scale from Mowday, et al that was modified by Kusba (1999), nursing motivation fiom Herzberg, and performance measurement, i.e. documentation fulfillment, observation of the implementation of nursing care standard of Health Departement of Republic Indonesia (1997). Data were processed by descrbing analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression.. Result: The result of the study showed organization commitment and motivation were correlated positively toward nurse performance (rl 0.653; p 0,001; r2 0.807; p=O.OOl), but leader behavior were correlated negatively toward nurse performance (~0.301p;= 0.094). Conclusion: The study concluded that leader behavior is not correlated toward nurse pefiormance, while organism commitment and motivation were correlated positively toword nurse performance in inpatien word of Kendari local hospital
