Persepsi perawat dengan karakteristiknya terhadap pelaksanaan dokumentasi proses keperawatan pada Rumah Sakit Honoris, Tangerang

Latar Belakang : Banyaknya dokumen-dokumen keperawatan yang kosong karena tidak diisi sebagaimana seharusnya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini diperlukan untuk menilai persepsi perawat terhadap dokumentasi proses keperawatan. Cara : Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional. Yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh tenaga perawat di RS Honoris yang bertugas di ruang rawat inap umum lantai IB, lantai 111 dan lantai IV yang berjumlah 57 orang . Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil : Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi perawat terhadap dokumentasi proses keperawatan secara umum baik dan mereks menyadari bahwa proses pendokumentasian tersebut memili ki dampak yang positif bagi mereka (persepsi positif). Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara karakteristik responden (usia, lama kerja, pendidikm, status marital, dan tempat tinggal) dengan persepsi dalam pelaksanaan dokumentasi proses keperawatar. Kesimpulan : Ketidaklengkapan dokumen keperawatan tidak berhubungan bermakna dengan persepsi perawat dalslm pelaksanaan dokumentasi proses keperawatan, tidak juga dengan karakteristik mereka.

Background : Many of the nursing documents were empty because it was not filled as it should be. Therefore, it is necessary to assess nurses’ perception on documentation of nursing process. Methods : This Cross sectional research design was conducted using a quantitative and qualitative analysis. The subjects of this research were all of the nurses in Honoris Hospital having duty in the first B floor, third floor and fourth floor. The total subjects were 57 persons. A tested questionaire was used to collect data. Results : It was shown that the perception of the nurses in Honoris Hospital about implementing the documentation and nursing processes were good, and they realized that the implication of this process was positive for them in doing their jobs (Positive perception). This research also showed that there was no relationship between the respondent characteristics (age, experience, education, marital status, and residence) with the perception of the nurse in the implementing of documentation of nursing process. Conclusion : The incompletness of the nursing documents was not rela’ied to perception of the nurses in the implementing the documentation of nursing process nor either with their characteristics.
