ANALISIS PENGARUH STRUKTUR KRISTAL TERHADAP TETAPAN SUSEPTIBILITAS PADA POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL (PEG-4000)-COATED NANOPARTIKEL MAGNETIK COBALT FERRITE (CoFe2O4)

2014 | Skripsi | FISIKATelah dikaji Nanopartikel magnetik cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4) yang dilapisi polietilen glikol (PEG-4000) telah dengan konsentrasi 25%, 33%, 50%, 66%, 75% menggunakan metode Gouy. Nilai tetapan suseptibilitas magnetik CoFe2O4 dipengaruhi konsentrasi pelapisan PEG-4000. Hasil analisa menunjukan bahwa nilai tetapan suseptibilitas magnetik CoFe2O4 semakin kecil seiring meningkatnya konsentrasi PEG-4000. Hasil pengukuran tetapan susebtibilitas berdasarkan konsentrasi pelapisan PEG-4000 berturut-turut (3,9 ± 0,2) 10-7 m3 /Kg; (2,4 ± 0,3) 10-7 m3 /Kg; (2,1 ± 0,2) 10-7 m3 /Kg; (0,90 ± 0,03) 10-7 m3 /Kg; (0,40 ± 0,03) 10-7 m3 /Kg. Namun nilai tetapan suseptibilitas semakin menurun seiring meningkatnya ukuran butir. Kata-kata kunci: CoFe2O4, polietilen glikol (PEG-4000), suseptibilitas magnet
The suseptibility of cobalt ferrite ( CoFe2O4) magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) coated by polyethylene glycol have been investigated by using Gouy method with various concentration of 25%, 33%, 50%, 66%, 75%. The susceptibility of CoFe2O4 are affected by PEG-4000 coating concentrate. The higher the concentration of the added PEG-4000, will cause decrease in the value of the magnetic susceptibility of cobalt ferrite. The result of suseptibility based on concentration of coating PEG-4000 are (3,9 ± 0,2) 10-7 m3 /Kg; (2,4 ± 0,3) 10-7 m3 /Kg; (2,1 ± 0,2) 10-7 m3 /Kg; (0,90 ± 0,03) 10-7 m3 /Kg; (0,40 ± 0,03) 10-7 m3 /Kg respectively.
