SISTEM INFORMASI PENERIMAAN PESERTA DIDIK BARU (PPDB) BERBASIS WEB SMP NEGERI 2 PUNDONG

Penerimaan peserta didik baru merupakan kegiatan rutin tiap tahun yang dilakukan setiap sekolah. Proses penerimaan peserta didik baru yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 2 Pundong masih menggunakan cara manual yaitu calon siswa mengambil formulir, mengembalikan formulir, memantau keadaan nilai di sekolah, melihat pengumuman di sekolah, sedangkan pihak panitia mencatat dan mengelola data masih dengan cara yang sederhana yaitu menggunakan Microsoft Excel sehingga proses penerimaan peserta didik baru di SMP Negeri 2 Pundong masih kurang efektif. Sistem Informasi Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru Berbasis Web SMP Negeri 2 Pundong ini dibangun untuk memberikan kemudahan dalam proses pendaftaran untuk calon siswa dan kemudahan dalam proses pengolahan data pendaftar untuk panitia penerimaan peserta didik baru. Sistem ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP murni, MySQL untuk pengolahan database-nya, dan gammu untuk fasilitas SMS Gateway. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengelola data-data calon siswa, data orang tua atau wali, data nilai SKHUN, dan data informasi terkait dengan penerimaan peserta didik baru di SMP Negeri 2 Pundong. Calon siswa mendaftar kemudian melengkapi data pada website, terkhir dapat melihat pengumuman penerimaan melalui layanan SMS maupun website.

New students‟s acceptance is an annual activity held in every schools. The process of new students‟s acceptance in SMP Negeri 2 Pundong uses the manual system, that the candidate of new students take the form to be filled with their own identities and then it must given back to school and they must monitor the scores then look at the announcement in the school, while the committee take some record by using a simple way, such a Microsoft Excel so the process of new students‟s acceptance in SMP Negeri 2 Pundong still less effective. Web based new students‟s acceptance information system in SMP Negeri 2 Pundong is designed to give an ease of registration process for new students‟ and facility in processing data for the commite. This system uses language program called pure php, mysql for recording the data and gammu to facilitate the sms gateway. This system is designed for processing the data of the candidate of new students including their own identity, parents‟s identity, the score of the exam result (SKHUN), and any important information about the students‟s acceptance in 2 Pundong junior high school. The candidate of new students who have been registered then completing their data through the website. Finally they can see the announcement by opening the website or getting information from sms.
