PENGARUH STOSA ® TERHADAP NILAI ERITROSIT, LEUKOSIT, HEMOGLOBIN, PACKED CELLS VOLUME, SERTA TOTAL PROTEIN PLASMA KAMBING KACANG

STOSA merupakan suplemen yang berisi vitamin, mineral, asam lemak dan asam amino untuk pertumbuhan serta imunitas ternak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian STOSA terhadap gambaran darah rutin kambing kacang. Enam belas ekor kambing kacang jantan berumur empat bulan dibagi menjadi empat kelompok. Kelompok perlakuan diberi STOSA dengan variasi pemberian 2 ml STOSA + 6 ml air minum (B), 4 ml STOSA + 4 ml air minum (C), dan 8 ml STOSA (D), sedangkan kontrol A diberi 8 ml air minum untuk memperoleh tingkat stres yang sama. Perlakuan dilakukan satu kali setiap hari selama 40 hari. Pengambilan sampel darah dilakukan pada hari ke 40 melalui vena jugularis kemudian dilakukan pemeriksaan darah dan dianalisis. Hasil pemeriksaan eritrosit kelompok A 8,96 ± 0,29, B 8,75 ± 0,34, C 9,18 ± 1,61, D 9,36 ± 0,29; leukosit kelompok A 9.325 ± 4.037,43, B 7.887,5 ± 1.423,83, C 10.325 ± 2.786,13, D 8.650 ± 2.120,54; neutrofil kelompok A 4.438 ± 1.123,74, B 3.750 ± 1.513,20, C 3.692,75 ± 1.427,13, D 4.040,75 ± 1.453,63; eosinofil kelompok A 176,25 ± 185,51, B 82 ± 128,28, C 354,75 ± 664,29, D 236,5 ± 473; basofil tidak ditemukan; limfosit kelompok A 4.328,25 ± 2.837,63, B 3.789,5 ± 996,81, C 5.508,5 ± 765,47, D 3.669 ± 2.362,49; monosit kelompok A 383 ± 220,9, B 266,25 ± 168,6, C 769 ± 549,33, D 703,75 ± 635,28; hemoglobin (Hb) kelompok A 6,55 ± 0,1, B 7,3 ± 0,88, C 6,4 ± 0,81, D 6,93 ± 0,51; Packed Cells Volume (PCV) A 22 ± 1,63, B 23,5 ± 1,92, C 22,5 ± 4,93, D 24,5 ± 2,38; dan Total Protein Plasma (TPP) kelompok A 4,95 ± 0,25, B 4,8 ± 0,28, C 5,15 ± 0,6, D 4,3 ± 0,48. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukan, pemberian STOSA selama pemeliharaan tidak mempengaruhi gambaran darah rutin secara signifikan, sehingga aman sebagai suplemen.

Livestock supplement is a feed additives which contains an element macro, micro, and nutrients required by livestock. STOSA is supplement that contains of vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and amino acids that support the growth process and increase the endurance of livestock. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of STOSA to erythrocytes, Hb, PCV, leukocyte & differential, and TPP. Sixteen goats were divided into four groups, each contains of four goats that raised since the age of four months. The treatment group was given STOSA with variation of 2 ml STOSA + 6 ml water (B), 4 ml STOSA + 4 ml water (C), and 8 ml STOSA (D), whereas control a given 8 ml of water to obtain the level of the same stress. The treatment is done once every day for 40 days. Blood sampling was performed on day 40th through the jugular vein and then performed blood tests and analyzed . The result showed that value of erythrocytes of group A 8,96 ± 0,29, B 8,75 ± 0,34, C 9,18 ± 1,61, D 9,36 ± 0,29; leukocytes of group A 9.325 ± 4.037,43, B 7.887,5 ± 1.423,83, C 10.325 ± 2.786,13, D 8.650 ± 2.120,54; neutrophils of group A 4.438 ± 1.123,74, B 3.750 ± 1.513,20, C 3.692,75 ± 1.427,13, D 4.040,75 ± 1.453,63; eosinophils of group A 176,25 ± 185,51, B 82 ± 128,28, C 354,75 ± 664,29, D 236,5 ± 473; basophils was not found; lymphocytes of group A 4.328,25 ± 2.837,63, B 3.789,5 ± 996,81, C 5.508,5 ± 765,47, D 3.669 ± 2.362,49; monocytes of group A 383 ± 220,9, B 266,25 ± 168,6, C 769 ± 549,33, D 703,75 ± 635,28; Hb of group A 6,55 ± 0,1, B 7,3 ± 0,88, C 6,4 ± 0,81, D 6,93 ± 0,51; A 22 ± 1,63, B 23,5 ± 1,92, C 22,5 ± 4,93, D 24,5 ± 2,38, and TPP of group A 4,95 ± 0,25, B 4,8 ± 0,28, C 5,15 ± 0,6, D 4,3 ± 0,48. Results of statistical analysis showed, giving STOSA during maintenance routine does not affect significantly the hematological profile, so it is safe as supplement.
