PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI SMART TOUR SUGGESTION KOTA YOGYAKARTA BERBASIS WINDOWS PHONE

Yogyakarta, sebuah kota yang dikenal dengan keanekaragaman tujuan wisatanya, baik itu wisata alam, budaya, maupun kulinernya. Dengan predikat seperti itu maka kota ini selalu dikunjungi oleh para wisatawan lokal maupun asing. Dengan melihat potensi wisata tersebut, maka Yogyakarta memerlukan sebuah tour guide yang dapat dengan mudah memberikan informasi tentang lokasi wisata, jalur transportasi, biaya dan estimasi waktu bagi para wisatawan. Industri mobile phone merupakan salah satu industri yang berkembang sangat cepat. Salah satu yang paling popular saat ini adalah smartphone yang didalamnya terdapat sistem operasinya masing – masing layaknya PC/Laptop. Dalam penelitian ini akan dikembangkan sebuah aplikasi tour guide yang dapat diakses melalui mobile phone berbasis Windows Phone. Dari penelitian ini dihasilkan sebuah aplikasi Smart Tour Suggestion berbasis Windows Phone yang dapat menampilkan peta dan dapat diakses secara offline guna memberikan informasi jalan, lokasi dan arah menuju tempat wisata yang ada di daerah Yogyakarta dan sekitarnya. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi tentang wisata dan tempat pendukungnya yang masih dianggap kurang bagi para wisatawan di daerah Yogyakarta.

Yogyakarta, a city known for its diversity of tourist destinations, be it nature, culture, and culinary. With a name like that, so the city is always visited by local and foreign tourists. By looking that potential, Yogyakarta need a tour guide who can easily provide information on tourist sites, transportation routes, costs and the estimated time for the tourists. Mobile phone industry is one industry that is growing very fast. One of the most popular today is the smartphone operating system in which there is one - each like a PC / Laptop. This research developed a tour guide application that can be accessed through a mobile phone based on Windows Phone. From this study produced a Smart Tour Suggestion application based on Windows Phone, that can display a map, which can be accessed offline to provide a way information, the location and directions to tourist attractions in Yogyakarta and surrounding areas This application is expected to provide information about travel and place’s support to provide information about who is considered to be less for tourists in the Yogyakarta area.
