Pada proses produksi sebuah cylinder comp kwb (cylcomp), industri Astra Honda Motor menggunakan mesin High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) dalam proses produksinya, cylinder comp kwb (cylcomp) merupakan salah satu komponent engine sepeda motor yang berfungsi sebagai ruang bakar pada motor Honda Revo dan Blade, untuk produksi dengan menggunakan mesin High Pressure Die Casting masih sering ditemukannya penyusutan yang terjadi pada saat pembekuan alumunium di dalam dies yang tidak dapat dihindari atau biasa disebut cacat blow hole, cacat tersebut dapat mengakibatkan kebocoran pada system engine. Pada cylcomp terdapat alur jalannya oli pada area lubang PGR, dimana oli tersebut digunakan untuk melumasi rantai cam yang berfungsi sebagai penggerak cam shaft, jika terdapat retak pada area tersebut maka saat oli bersirkulasi pada mesin, oli tersebut akan keluar melalui retakan-retakan pada daerah lubang PGR sehingga mengotori semua bagian mesin. berdasarkan atas besarnya data rusaknya produk yang terdapat pada cylcomp yang disebabkan oleh blow hole tersebut maka alat leak tester vacuum repair ini dibuat.
