ProgrammableLogic Controller (PLC) adalah suatu rangkaian yang terdiri atas processor dan peralatan input/output yang digunakan untuk tujuan tertentu, biasanya digunakan sebagai alat untuk pengontrolan otomatis yang menggunakan arus listrik tinggi di industri dan pabrik. Pada tugas akhir ini PLC digunakan untuk membuat, menganalisa dan menguji program PLC pada sistem kontrol lift barang tiga lantai sehingga lift tersebut dapat dioperasikan sesuai dengan rancangan. Program lift ini ditulis dalam bentuk diagram tangga berdasarkan kontrol logika dengan mempertimbangkan faktor keamanan. Software yang digunakan dalam pembuatan program yaitu CX-Programmer. Program ini dibuat pada beberapa section dengan tujuan untuk mempermudah dalam pengawasan dan perbaikan jika terjadi kerusakan. Section-section tersebut yaitu section main program, section memory relay, section buzzer, section buzzer emergency, dan section output. Keunggulan lift barang berbasis PLC dengan lift barang lainnya yaitu crane dapat keluar dari lift secara otomatis, sehingga pengguna lebih mudah memasukkan atau mengeluarkan barang

Programmable Logic Controller ( PLC ) is a series consisting of processor and input / output devices that are used for specific purposes , usually used as a tool for the automatic control of the use of high electric current in the industry and factories . In this final project PLC is used to create , analyze and test the PLC program in a freight elevator control system so that the three- floor elevator can be operated in accordance with the design . Lift program is written in the form of control logic ladder diagram by taking into account the safety factor . Software programs are used in the manufacture of CX - Programmer . This program is made in several sections in order to facilitate the monitoring and repair in case of damage . Section - the section which section the main program , the memory section relay , buzzer section , emergency buzzer section , and output section . The advantages of PLC -based freight elevator with other goods lift crane that can come out of the lift automatically , so the user is more easily insert or remove items
