FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PRODUKTIVITAS PEMETIK TEH DI PT PAGILARAN BATANG

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui karakteristik dan produktivitas pemetik teh, (2) mengetahui besar kontribusi pendapatan dari hasil memetik teh terhadap pendapatan total keluarga pemetik teh, dan (3) mengetahui faktor-faktor apa sajakah yang mempengaruhi produktivitas pemetik teh. Penentuan sampel ditentukan dengan metode multistage random sampling, yaitu dengan melakukan tiga tahap random sampling untuk melakukan pemilihan rayon, mandor dan pemetik teh. Analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa (1) kontribusi pendapatan hasil memetik teh lebih besar dibandingkan dengan kontribusi pendapatan luar memetik teh dengan rata-rata kontribusi sebesar 54,08% dan dengan rata-rata pendapatan hasil memetik sebesar Rp 554.306,00 per bulan, (2) faktor-faktor yang secara signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap produktivitas pemetik teh adalah pengalaman bekerja, populasi tanaman dan umur pangkas, sedangkan yang berpengaruh negatif terhadap produktivitas pemetik teh adalah jumlah anggota keluarga.

The objectives of this study were to (1) study the characteristics and productivity of tea pickers (2) study the contribution income from tea picking to total income of the tea pickers household, and (3) study factors which were affected the tea pickers productivity. Sample was determined by multistage random sampling method including choosing region of plantations, foremans, and tea pickers. The data were analyzed by analyzed descriptive methode and regressing them with multiple linear analysis. The results showed that (1) the contribution income of tea plucking was larger than the contribution of non-plucking income in which the percentage of its contribution was of 54,08% and mean of income was Rp 554.306, and (2) the factors which positively affected tea pickers productivity were the working experience, plant population and age trim of tea, while the number of family members negatively affected the productivity of tea pickers.
