PENGGUNAAN MINYAK CENGKIH PADA PENGANGKUTAN BENIH IKAN MAS (Cyprinus carpio L.)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan minyak cengkih pada pengangkutan benih ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio L.). Pengaruh minyak cengkih dilihat dari waktu induksi, waktu penormalan, dan sintasan setelah pengangkutan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dengan 3 ulangan, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Dosis minyak cengkih yang digunakan adalah 0, 3, 6, dan 9 mg/l. Benih ikan mas berukuran 3-5 cm, diangkut dengan sistem tertutup selama 6 jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis minyak cengkih berpengaruh terhadap waktu induksi dan waktu penormalan. Semakin tinggi dosis minyak cengkih maka akan menghasilkan waktu induksi yang cepat dan waktu penormalan yang lama. Dosis minyak cengkih yang efektif adalah 3 mg/l dengan hasil sintasan sebesar 95,57%. Kata kunci: benih ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio L.), minyak cengkih, pengangkutan

This reseach aims was to determine the effect of clove oil on the transportation of common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.). Effect of clove oil seen from the induction time, normalization time, and the survival rate after transportation. The reseach consisted of 4 treatments with 3 replications, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Clove oil dose used were 0, 3, 6, and 9 mg/l. The size of common carp is 3-5 cm, transported to the closed system for 6 hours. The results showed that clove oil dose effect on induction time and normalization time. The higher dose of clove oil will result faster induction time and longer normalization time. An effective dose of clove oil is 3 mg/l with survival rate of 95.57%.
