Film adalah sebuah media baru yang muncul pada abad ke-18 yang berupa satuansatuan gambar bergerak yang terlihat bergerak. Kemunculan media film ini turut melengkapi kesuksesan novel yang telah lahir berabad-abad yang lalu. Seniman film coba mengangkat kesuksesan cerita yang terdapat dalam novel abad pertengahan. Pengangkatan ini disebut ekranisasi. Cerpen Une Partie de Campagne karya Guy de Maupassant adalah salah satu cerpen yang diangkat oleh Jean Renoir, sutradara film Prancis. Penambahan adegan, penciutan adegan dan perubahan variasi menjadi ciri khas film adaptasi karena ia dibatasi oleh durasi dan menuntut adanya penambahan aspek sinematik. Aspek sinematik meliputi aspek tokoh, aspek latar dan penempatan kamera. Perbedaan yang sangat mendasar antara cerpen dan film sangat terlihat mulai dari penggambaran tokoh, penggambaran latar cerita dan efek kamera untuk menunjang kualitas film. Dari perubahan tersebut dapat dibuktikan bahwa karya sastra tidak kaku dan dapat berubah-ubah mengikuti wahananya yang baru. Kata kunci : Ekranisasi, Film, Cerpen, Sinematik, Une Partie de Campagne

Film is a new type of media, established in the 18th century which consists of motion images, making them appears like moving. This new industry completing the success from novels that published in the last century. Many directors have tried to adapt the famous story from the mid-century. This transformation process is called “ekranisasi”. Une Partie de Campagne is a short story written by Guy de Maupassant. The story was adapted by French director, Jean Renoir. Additional scene, removal scene and additional variation are the typical of this transformation because the film is limited with the duration and the cinematographic aspect needs to be added. This aspect consists of background aspect, camera-placing, camera effect and the actors. The fundamental difference between the short story and film can be seen by the description of actors, the different background and camera effect to get the best point of view. Therefore, the film will have a better quality. By these differences that appear in the transformation, it is proven that literatures are not rigid and they can be changed along with the new form.
