APLIKASI BUKU SAKU SEJARAH SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS BERBASIS ANDROID

Dewasa ini, pendidikan menjadi hal yang sangat penting bagi masyarakat. Pendidikan bagi siswa khususnya siswa pada sekolah menengah atas merupakan periode perkembangan potensi diri dimana nantinya mereka akan menjadi generasi penerus. Sejarah merupakan hal yang sangat penting untuk dijadikan pedoman bagi generasi penerus dalam mengisi kemerdekaan. Penggunaan mobile berbasis android pada pendidikan bertujuan untuk menarik minat dan mempermudah belajar, khususnya pada bidang pendidikan sejarah yang dianggap membosankan, sehingga dapat mendorong semangat belajar siswa. Aplikasi Buku Saku Sejarah Sekolah Menengah Atas Berbasis Android di desain untuk dapat menjadi media pembelajaran yang efektif dan menarik dalam mempelajari sejarah pada siswa tingkat sekolah menengah atas . Aplikasi Buku Saku Sejarah Sekolah Menengah Atas Berbasis Android ini dibuat dengan menggabungkan berbagai elemen seperti xml, java, dan sqlite database. Penggabungan seluruh elemen tersebut dikelola dengan software Eclipse Juno. Aplikasi ini memiliki tiga pilihan menu utama yaitu kelas x, kelas xi dan kelas xii. Setiap pilihan kelas menampilkan materi sejarah sesuai kelasnya serta dilengkapi latihan soal pada setiap materi yang disajikan. Setelah melewati tahap pengujian, aplikasi ini dinilai dapat membantu siswa - siswa sekolah menengah atas dalam pelajaran sejarah. Desain serta fungsionalitas aplikasi membuat siswa lebih tertarik untuk mempelajari pelajaran sejarah.

Nowadays, education becomes very important for society. Education for students especially senior high school is a period of self potency development where at future they will become the next generation. History is very important to be used as a guide for next generation to maintain the independence which has been reached. The use of android based mobile application in education aims to attract and facilitate the students to study in easy and pleasurable way, especially history education that is considered boring, so that it can encourage the students learning motivation. The Senior High School History Lesson Pocket Book Application Android Based is designed to be an effective and interesting teaching and learning media to study history subject at senior high school grade. The Senior High School History Lesson Pocket Book Application Android Based is made to combine a various elements such as xml, java, and sqlite database. The combination of all elements is organized by software Eclipse Juno. This Application has three choices of main menu, namely first grade, second grade and third grade. Each grade option displays material of history subject which is math with curriculum and include exercises on each material which presented. After passed the examination phase, this application is considered to help the senior high school students in history subject. The design and functionality of application make the students interested to study history subject.
