ANALISIS FAKTA-FAKTA CERITA DAN TEMA NOVEL AMRIKE KEMBANG KOPI KARYA SUNARYATA SOEMARDJO

Penelitian ini adalah salah satu bentuk ketertarikan terhadap karya sastra secara lebih mendalam. Salah satu bentuk karya sastra adalah novel. Novel merupakan bentuk prosa rekaan yang menampilkan serangkaian peristiwa, tokoh-tokoh, dan latar. Sebagai salah satu bentuk karya sastra, novel merupakan bentuk cerita yang utuh dan bulat. Objek sastra dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Amrike Kembang Kopi (AKK) karya Sunaryata Soemardjo. Novel AKK merupakan salah satu novel Jawa modern yang baru diterbitkan pada tahun 2012 oleh Elmatera Publishing dengan diprakarsai oleh Pamarsudi Sastra Jawi Bojonegoro. Untuk mengetahui unsur pembangun cerita novel AKK, maka digunakan analisis struktural yang lebih terfokus pada fakta cerita dan tema novel AKK. Hasil dari analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara tokoh utama cerita yakni, Tita dan Santi, serta tokoh tambahan yakni, Soni, Ibu, Kun, dan lainlain, dengan pembentukan alur yang bergerak maju. Pergerakan alur novel AKK juga dipengaruhi oleh latar terjadinya peristiwa dan interaksi tokoh-tokohnya. Latar digunakan pengarang untuk menunjukkan dinamika peristiwa dalam cerita novel AKK sehingga membentuk alur yang bergerak maju. Dinamika peristiwa yang terjadi diantaranya pertemuan antar tokoh, penegasan jati diri tokoh, dan sikap yang diambil oleh tokoh. Adanya hal tersebut maka ditemukan tema novel AKK yakni kehidupan yang dibayangi konflik keluarga dan trauma percintaan sehingga menimbulkan konflik baru. Dengan melakukan analisis struktural pada novel AKK maka ditemukan hubungan yang menunjukkan adanya unsur-unsur pembentuk cerita yang saling berhubungan membentuk kesatuan dalam cerita

This research is one the forms of deeper interest in the literature. One of the literary forms is novel. The novel is a fictitious prose featuring series of events, characters, and settings. As a literary form, a novel is a story that is intact and whole. The literary object in this research is a novel by Sunaryata Soemardjo entitled Amrike Kembang Kopi (AKK). AKK is one of the new modern Javanese novels published in 2012 by Elmatera Publishing initiated by Pamarsudi Sastra Jawi Bojonegoro. To identify the literary elements of AKK, the researcher uses structural analysis focusing more on the facts of story and the theme of the novel. The results of the analysis showed that there is a relationship between the main characters, Tita and Santi, as well as the additional figures, Soni, Ibu, Kun, etc., in the formation of the progressive plot. AKK plot movement also influenced by the setting of the events and interactions of the characters. The setting is used by the author to show the dynamics of the events in the story of AKK, thus forming the plot to move forward. The dynamic of the events showed a meeting point between characters and the emphasis of their characteristics and attitude. From the existence of the dynamic of the events, the researcher could find the theme of AKK. AKK’s theme is life overshadowed by conflicts with family and traumatic of romance which raises new conflicts. By employing structural analysis on the novel AKK, the researcher is able to find the relationships indicating the constituent elements of the story that are interconnected to form a unity in the story.
