RELIGIOSITAS DALAM CERPEN NATAL 1945 KARYA Y.B. MANGUNWIJAYA

Penelitian yang berjudul Religiositas Dalam Cerita Pendek Natal 1945 Karya Y.B. Mangunwijaya ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kegelisahan yang terus menggerus keyakinan manusia terhadap Tuhannya. Keyakinan manusia terhadap Tuhannya tergantung dari kepekaan manusia akan hubungannya dengan Tuhan. Hubungan antara manusia dengan Tuhannya adalah permasalahan religiositas. Cerita pendek Natal 1945 dipilih karena cerpen tersebut merepresentasikan konflik keyakinan dan harapan yang mampu menjelaskan religiositas secara kontekstual. Penelitian ini coba menjawab tiga pertanyaan sebagai berikut: Bagaimana deskripsi cerita pendek Natal 1945 karya Y.B. Mangunwijaya? Bagaimana deskripsi religiositas dalam Filsafat Agama? Bagaimana religiositas dalam cerita pendek Natal 1945 karya Y.B. Mangunwijaya? Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk melihat masalah religiositas dalam cerita pendek Natal 1945. Data-data didapatkan dari studi pustaka, baik yang bersifat primer maupun pustaka sekunder. Masalah religiositas dan cerita pendek Natal 1945 karya Y.B. Mangunwijaya dijadikan sebagai objek material sedangkan filsafat agama, secara umum dijadikan sebagai objek formal. Kemudian objek material dan objek formal tersebut akan diolah dengan kerangka metodis: deskripsi, interpretasi, heuristika dan refleksi. Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini secara umum adalah sebagai berikut, 1) Dalam cerpen tersebut terdapat persoalan religiositas yang terlihat dalam konflik keyakinan dan harapan para tokohnya. 2) Di dalam ranah pemikiran filsafat agama, religiositas memiliki pengertian kepekaan hubungan antara manusia dengan Tuhannya. Hubungan tersebut bersifat personal dan menjadi dasar keyakinan seseorang terhadap kehadiran Tuhannya. 3) Secara umum religiositas dalam Natal 1945 membicarakan tentang keyakinan manusia terhadap Tuhan, keteguhan harapan seorang manusia dan sikap optimis yang dimiliki oleh seseorang terhadap keyakinannya.

The study, entitled Religiositas Dalam Cerpen Natal 1945 Karya Y.B. Mangunwijaya (Religiosity in YB Mangunwijaya’s Christmas 1945 Storiette) is stimulated by unease that continue to erode faith of man to God. The belief of human on his God would depend on the sensitivity of the human relationship with God. The relationship between man and God is the problem of religiosity. Natal 1945 storiette have been represent the conflict of beliefs and expectations that is able to explain religiosity contextually. This study tried to answer the following three questions: How does the description of YB Mangunwijaya’s Natal 1945 storiette? How does the description of religiosity in the Philosophy of Religion? How does religiosity in YB Mangunwijaya’s Natal 1945 storiette? This study used a qualitative approach to look at the issues of religiosity in the Natal 1945 storiette. The data obtained from literature, both primary and secondary literature. Problems religiosity and YB Mangunwijaya’s Natal 1945 storiette used as a material object, while the philosophy of religion, is generally used as a formal object. Then the material object and formal object will be processed with a methodical framework: description, interpretation, heuristics and reflection. The results achieved in this study generally are as follows, 1) In the short story there is the issue of religiosity are seen in conflict of faith and expectations of the characters. 2) In the realm of philosophy of religion, religiosity has a sense of the sensitivity of the relationship among the man and his God. The relationship is personal and form the basis of one's beliefs against the presence of his God. 3) In general religiosity in Natal 1945 talking about of human faith in God, the firmness of a man hope and an optimistic attitude held by a person against his conviction.
