ANALISIS USAHA PEMANFAATAN CAMPURAN DAUN DAN LADEK UNTUK PRODUKSI MINYAK CENGKEH

Indonesia merupakan produsen terbesar minyak cengkeh. Perkembangan teknologi pengolahan minyak cengkeh menjadi berbagai macam produk membuat permintaan minyak cengkeh terus meningkat. Ketersediaan bahan baku merupakan faktor utama yang mempengaruhi kontinyuitas produksi minyak cengkeh. Ladek adalah salah satu bahan baku alternatif untuk produksi minyak cengkeh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa aspek produksi dan aspek finansial bahan baku minyak cengkeh dari campuran daun cengkeh dan ladek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variasi komposisi bahan baku menggunakan campuran daun dan ladek berpengaruh terhadap rendemen dan kadar eugenol minyak cengkeh. Campuran daun dan ladek menghasilkan minyak cengkeh dengan rendemen 2,68 – 2,96 % dan kadar eugenol 79,44 – 85,34 %. Campuran 150 kg daun cengkeh dan 450 kg ladek adalah komposisi bahan baku minyak cengkeh yang paling menguntungkan secara ekonomis.

Indonesia is the largest producer of clove oil . The development of clove oil processing technology into a wide variety of products made of clove oil demand continues to increase . Availability of raw materials is a major factor affecting the sustainability of production of clove oil . Ladek is one alternative raw materials for the production of clove oil . This study aims to identify and analyze aspects of production and financial aspects of the raw material mixture of clove leaves and Ladek . The results showed that the variation of raw material composition using a mixture of leaves and Ladek effect on the yield of clove oil and eugenol content . Leaves and Ladek mixture produce clove oil with yield of 2.68 to 2.96 % and eugenol content of 79.44 to 85.34 % . A mixture of 150 kg leaf clovers and 450 kg Ladek is clove oil feedstock composition of the most economically advantageous .
