HUBUNGAN KADAR IgE TOTAL SERUM DENGAN DERMATITIS NUMULARIS

Latar Belakang Dermatitis numularis merupakan dermatitis endogen yang terjadi utamanya dimediasi proses endogen tetapi juga oleh faktor eksogen. Sebagian besar dermatitis numularis tidak diketahui etiologinya, sedangkan studi patogenesisnya masih sedikit. Peran multifaktorial yang dicurigai meliputi lingkungan, cuaca, hidrasi kulit, alergen atau iritan lingkungan, infeksi sebelumnya/tersembunyi, efek samping obat, hipersensitivitas terhadap alergen spesifik. Hubungan atopi dan kadar Imunoglobulin E total dengan dermatitis numularis masih kontroversial. Tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar IgE total dengan dermatitis numularis. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain kasus kontrol untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar IgE total dengan dermatitis numularis. Hasil jumlah subyek dermatitis numularis 40 dan subyek kontrol 40. Rerata kadar IgE total ± SD pada kelompok dermatitis numularis (atopi dan tanpa atopi) dan kontrol berturut-turut adalah 333,9 ± 376,7 IU/mL dan 182,9 ± 292,3 IU/ml, sedangkan rerata kadar IgE total ± SD pada kelompok dermatitis numularis tanpa atopi dan kontrol berturut-turut adalah 240±333,9 IU/mL dan 182,9 ± 292,3 IU/ml. Terdapat perbedaan bermakna rerata kadar IgE total kelompok dermatitis numularis dibanding kontrol (p<0.05), sedangkan rerata kadar IgE total antara kelompok dermatitis numularis tanpa riwayat atopi dengan kontrol tidak berbeda bermakna (p>0,05). Background nummular dermatitis an endogenous dermatitis that occurs not only primarily mediated by endogenous but also influenced by exogenous factors. Most cases of nummular dermatitis are unknown etiology, meanwhile the study of pathogenesis is still little. Multifactorial role including environment, weather, skin hydration, environments allergen or irritans, previous/occult infection, side effects of drugs, hypersensitivity to specific allergen were suspected. The relationship between atopy and total IgE level in nummular dermatitis is still debatable. Purpose to determine the association between total IgE level and nummular dermatitis. Methods case-control study design was used to determine the association between total IgE level and nummular dermatitis. Result of mount nummular dermatitis subjects and controls respectively were 40 and 40. The means ± SD total IgE level in group of nummular dermatitis and control group respectively were 333.9 ± 376.7 IU / mL and 182.9 ± 292.3 IU / ml with a p-value = 0.012, while the means ± SD total IgE level in the nummular dermatitis without a history of atopy and control groups respectively were 240 ± 333.9 IU / mL and 182.9 ± 292.3 IU/ml with a p-value =0.152. There were significant differences in the mean of total IgE levels between group of nummular dermatitis compared to the control groups (p <0.05), whereas the mean of total IgE level between nummular dermatitis without a history of atopy with controls groups did not differ significantly (p> 0.05).
