DESAIN AWAL PROSTESIS TANGAN ”LOWER ARM ” BERDASARKAN DATA ANTROPOMETRI MAHASISWA

Untuk mengganti organ tubuh yang hilang diperlukan alat bantu pengganti bagian tubuh yang hilang yang disebut dengan prostesis. Pada dasarnya prostesis tangan memiliki dua fungsi yaitu sebagai kosmetik dan sebagai alat fungsional. Prostesis tangan yang berfungsi sebagai kosmetik bentuknya menyerupai tangan asli dan estetis. Sedangkan yang berfungsi sebagai alat fungsional adalah dapat menjalankan beberapa fungsi tangan. Ukuran detail prostesis tangan hendaknya sama dengan ukuran tangan manusia normal. Masalah yang sering ditemui pada pemakaian prostesis adalah ketidaknyamanan karena ukuran detail yang kurang sesuai. Dari kondisi tersebut perlu dilakukan perancangan desain prosthesis tangan yang berfungsi sebagai kosmetik yang lebih mengutamakan kenyamanan, kesesuaian ukuran, proporsional dan estetis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang dan menganalisa desain prostesis tangan lower arm yang ergonomis dengan data antropometri, sehingga tepat ukuran, nyaman dipakai dan tampak estetis. Tempat penelitian yaitu Rumah Sakit Ortopedi Prof. DR. R. Soeharso (RSOS) Surakarta, Jawa Tengah dan Laboratorium Ergonomi Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara, Sukoharjo. Obyek desain adalah mahasiswa strata satu semester enam program studi Teknik Industri Fakultas Teknik Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara, Sukoharjo. Data yang didapat kemudian dilakukan pengujian statistik, penghitungan persentil dan perancangan prostesis tangan lower arm. Materi yang dipakai dalam perancangan prostesis tangan lower arm adalah ilmu antropometri, prostesis, amputasi, software Autocad dan software SPSS. Pemodelan produk dan dimensinya dihasilkan dari hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan. Prostesis tangan lower arm yang peneliti rancang dibuat dengan menyesuaikan dimensi organ manusia normal untuk memberikan kenyamanan pengguna prostesis. Dihasilkan desain prostesis tangan lower arm laki-laki dan perempuan dengan menggunakan pendekatan antropometri diperoleh rancangan dengan dimensi yang tepat dapat memberikan rasa nyaman bagi pemakai prostesis. Rancangan prostesis yang dibuat tersebut fungsinya sebagai alat komestik dapat direkomendasikan untuk dibuat secara massal untuk mengurangi biaya produksi sehingga harga prostesis tangan lebih murah dibandingkan dengan harga prostesis sistem pesanan. To change the lost organ of body it is required an assist tool as a replacement of it called by prosthesis. Basically hand prosthesis has two functions namely as cosmetic and functional tool. Hand prosthesis functioned as cosmetic its form is like original hand and aesthetic. While the one functioned as functional tool is able to conduct several functions of hand. The detail size of hand prosthesis should be similar with the normal one of human hand. The problem which often to be found on the use of prosthesis is uncomfortable due to detail size is less suitable. From the condition it is necessary to be conducted the design of hand prosthesis functioned as cosmetic to give priority to comfortable, suitability of size, proportional and aesthetic. The purpose of this research is to design and analysis the design of hand prosthesis of lower arm which is ergonomic with anthropometric data, so it is precise size, comfortable in use and looked esthetic. The place of research was Orthopedic Hospital of Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso (RSOS) Surakarta, Central Java and Ergonomic Laboratory of Veteran Bangun Nusantara University, Sukoharjo. Object of design were students of study program of Industrial Technique, sixth semester, Technical Faculty, Veteran Bangun Nusantara University, Sukoharjo. Data found was then conducted the statistic test, percentile calculation and design of hand prosthesis of lower arm. Materials used in the design of hand prosthesis of lower arm were anthropometric science, prosthesis, amputation, Software of Auto cad and SPSS. Product model and its dimension is produced from the calculation result conducted. The hand prosthesis of lower arm researcher designs is made by adjusting the dimension of human normal organ to give the comfortable in prosthesis use. It is produced the design of hand prosthesis of lower arm in male and female by using the approach of anthropometric so it is obtained the design with the precise dimension which can give the comfortable feel for the use of prosthesis. The design of prosthesis made has a function as cosmetic tool which can be recommended to make it in general to reduce the fee of production so the price of hand prosthesis is cheaper compared with the one in order system.
