PELANGGARAN PRINSIP KERJA SAMA DALAM SERIAL KOMEDI SITUASI THE BIG BANG THEORY (KAJIAN PRAGMATIK)

Penelitian ini berjudul pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama dalam serial komedi situasi The Big Bang Theory. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk – bentuk pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama, fungsi pragmatis pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama dan menjelaskan faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama dalam serial komedi situasi The Big Bang Theory. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam pengumpulan data, penelitian ini menggunakan metode simak dengan dilanjutkan teknik catat. Data berupa transkrip film kemudian dipilah yang berupa pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama. Kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan padan pragmatik. Analisis bentuk – bentuk pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama dikaji dengan teori prinsip kerja sama Grice (1975). Analisis fungsi pragmatis pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama dijelaskan berdasarkan teori Searle (1969), dan faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama dijelaskan dengan teori SPEAKING Hymes. Hasil analisis data disajikan menggunakan metode penyajian informal yaitu dengan menggunakan kata – kata biasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam serial komedi situasi The Big Bang Theory terdapat bentuk – bentuk pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama, yaitu maksim kuantitas, maksim kualitas, maksim relevansi dan maksim pelaksanaan. Fungsi yang terkandung dalam pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama terdiri dari fungsi asertif, direktif, ekspresif, komisif dan deklaratif. Faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama adalah setting, partisipan seperti latar belakang peserta tutur yang meliputi tingkat keakraban, watak, warna emosi, maksud/tujuan, key atau nada dan norms atau aturan dalam berkomunikasi.

The study entitles the flouting of cooperative principle in the situation comedy series The Big Bang Theory. It aims to describe types of the flouting of cooperative principle, to describe pragmatic functions of the flouting of cooperative principle and to explain the factors influencing the flouting of cooperative principle in the situation comedy series The Big Bang Theory. This research is descriptive qualitative research. In collecting data, this study uses note taking technique. The data of this research are taken from the transcript of the film then sorted based on the flouting of cooperative principle. Then the data are analyzed using pragmatic approach. Types of the flouting of cooperative principle are analyzed by the theory of cooperative principle by Grice (1975). Pragmatic function of the flouting of cooperative principle is described by Searle's theory (1969), and factors affecting the occurrence in the flouting of cooperative principle are explained according to Hymes’s SPEAKING. The results of the data analysis are presented using informal method by using ordinary words. The results show that in the situation comedy series The Big Bang Theory there are types of the flouting of cooperative principle, namely the maxim of quantity, maxim of quality, maxim of relevance and maxim of manner. The pragmatic functions in the flouting of cooperative principle consist of assertive, directive, expressive, comissive and declarative. Some factors that influence the occurrence in the flouting of cooperative principle are setting, participants such as the background of participants, which includes the level of intimacy, character, color emotions, intentions/ goals, key and norms or rules of communication.
