PENGARUH PELATIHAN HATHA YOGA TERHADAP JOB BURNOUT: MASA KERJA SEBAGAI KOVARIABEL

Job burnout mengakibatkan absentisme, turnover, ketidaksehatan fisik, dan depresi pada perawat. Hal ini berimplikasi pada rendahnya kualitas pelayanan terhadap pasien dan rendahnya produktivitas organisasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian hatha yoga terhadap job burnout dengan masa kerja sebagai kovariabel. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan yang signifkan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol paska pelatihan hatha yoga. Tingkat job burnout pada kelompok eksperimen lebih rendah daripada kelompok kontrol tanpa perlakuan. Masa kerja sebagai kovariabel memiliki sumbangan yang signifikan terhadap penurunan job burnout. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan eksperimental dengan desain pretest-postest control group. Subjek menggunakan perawat RS. Bhayangkara Yogyakarta berjumlah 14 orang yang terbagi secara acak pada kelompok eksperimen (n=5) dan kelompok kontrol (n=9). Teknik analisis data menggunakan anakova, Mann-Whitney dan anava campuran. Hasil uji hipotesis penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol paska pelatihan hatha yoga (F=21.437; p=0.01). Tingkat job burnout pada kelompok eksperimen (M=32.317) lebih rendah daripada kelompok kontrol tanpa perlakuan (M=36.824). Masa kerja sebagai kovariabel tidak memiliki sumbangan yang signifikan terhadap penurunan job burnout (F= 0.484; p= 0.502).

Job burnout caused absentism, turnover, physical illness and depression to the nurses. This matter had an implication toward the low quality of service to the patients and the low productiveness of the organization. In relation to the situation, the research objetive was to find the influence of hatha yoga training toward the job burnout with the job tenure as the co-variable. The research hypothesis was that there had been a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group after the hatha yoga training. The job burnout level in the experimental group were lower than that of the control group. The working period as a co-variable had a significant contribution toward the decrease of job burnout. The researcher employed experimental approach by means of pre-test and post-test control group design as the research method. The subjects of the research were 14 nurses of Bhayangkara Yogyakarta Hospital divided randomly in the experimental group (n = 5) and in the control group (n = 9). The researcher employed ancova, Mann-Whitney and mixed anova for the data analysis technique. The results of the research hypothesis test was that there had been a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group after the hatha yoga training (F = 21.437; p = 0,01). The job burnout level in the experimental group (M=32.317) was lower than that of the control group (M = 36.284). The working period as the co-variable did not have a significant contribution toward the decrease of job burnout (F = 0,484; p = 0,502).
