PRARANCANGAN PABRIK DIETIL MALONAT DARI ASAM MONOKHLOR ASETAT KAPASITAS 12.000 TON / TAHUN

Pabrik Dietil Malonat dari Asam Monokhlor Asetat dirancang dengan kapasitas 12.000 ton pertahun, beroperasi selama 335 hari dalam setahun. Dietil Malonat merupakan suatu senyawa ester organik dengan rumus molekul CH2(COOC2H5)2 yang dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku industri farmasi, vitamin, agrokimia dan industri bahan pewarna. Proses pembuatannya dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut : proses pelarutan bahan baku, pembentukkan garam, reaksi sianifikasi, reaksi esterifikasi dan proses pemisahan dan pemurnian produk yang berupa proses dekantasi dan proses distilasi. Pabrik direncanakan didirikan di daerah Gresik Jawa Timur di atas tanah seluas 40.000 m 2 4 Hektar). Untuk menghasilkan Dietil Malonat 99 % sebanyak 12.000 ton pertahun dibutuhkan Asam Monokhlor Asetat sebanyak 8723,4 ton pertahun, NaOH 40 % sebanyak 9229,92 ton pertahun, NaCN sebanyak 4526,52 ton pertahun, Etanol 95 % sebanyak 8940,48 ton pertahun, Asam Sulfat 98 % sebanyak 8310,248 ton pertahun dan benzene 217,08 ton pertahun. Sedangkan utilitas yang diperlukan adalah air sebanyak 80615,262 m 3 pertahun, listrik 868,81 kVA dan steam sebanyak 351,301 kg/jam. Dari perhitungan hasil evaluasi ekonomi diperoleh Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) sebesar US$ 20.107.485 dan Rp.126.574.858.327; Working Capital (WC) sebesar US$ 13.686.946 dan Rp.19.942.836.010; Keuntungan sebelum pajak US$ 10.469.379; Keuntungan setelah pajak US$ 5.234.689; Return On Investment before taxes = 31,77 %; Return On Investment after taxes = 15,88 %; Pay Out Time before taxes = 2,4 tahun;, Pay Out Time after taxes = 3,86 tahun;, Break Even Point (BEP) = 41 %; Shut Down Point (SDP) = 16,4%; Discounted Cash Flow Rate of Return (DCFRR) = 31,38 %. Berdasarkan data-data diatas, pabrik dietil malonat dari asam monokhor asetat dengan kapasitas 12.000 ton/tahun menarik untuk didirikan.

The plant will be established in Gresik, East \Java with a land area of 4 hectares. To product diethyl malonate with the capacity 12,000 tons/ year, the materials needed are monochloracetic acid as much as 8723.4 tons/ year, NaOH 40 % as much as 9229.92 tons/ year, NaCN as much as 4526.52 tons/ year, ethanol 95 % as much as 8940.48 tons/year, H2SO4 98 % as much as 8310.248 tons/year and benzene as much as 217.08 tons/year. Beside that, to support this process, the utility takes water as much as 80615.262 M 3 / year, 868.81 kVA electrical needs, and steams 351.301 kgs / hour. Fixed capital required amounted to US$ 60,894,445 + Rp. 126,574,858,327 and working capital US$ 13,686,946 + Rp 19,942,836,010. Profit before tax is Rp. 10,469,379. And profit after tax is Rp. 5,234,689. From the results of calculations, the Return on Investment (ROI) before taxes 31,77 % and 15,88 % after tax. Pay Out Time (POT) before taxes 2,4 years, 3,86 years after tax. Break Even Point 40,70%, Shut Down Point 16,4% and Discounted Cash Flow Rate Of Return 31,38%. From the results of the feasibility study plants through economic evaluations have been done on plant diethyl malonate from monochloracetic acid with a production capacity of 12,000 tons / year can be concluded that the plant deserves to be studied further.
