PROTOTIPE SISTEM INFORMASI HAJI UNTUK MENANGANI JEMAAH TERSESAT/HILANG DI DAERAH KERJA MEKAH MENGGUNAKAN SMS GATEWAY

Pembentukan sektor khusus keamanan di sekitar Masjidil Haram dan penambahan personil pengamanan di setiap sektor pemondokan jemaah merupakan bukti nyata bahwa pemerintah Indonesia serius melakukan upaya perbaikan penyelenggaraan haji, utamanya di bidang keamanan yang selama ini masih menjadi sorotan beberapa pihak termasuk DPR dalam memberikan pandangannya terhadap penyelenggaraan kegiatan tahunan terbesar umat Islam tersebut. Namun demikian, para petugas masih saja kewalahan dalam menangani jemaah tersesat dan jemaah hilang yang dapat mencapai ratusan orang setiap harinya. Penelitian ini mengatasi masalah penanganan jemaah tersesat/hilang dengan mengembangkan sistem informasi yang melibatkan aplikasi sms gateway sebagai teknologi yang murah pengadaannya, cepat proses distribusi informasinya, dan mudah penggunaannya. Pengembangan sistem informasi dimulai dengan perancangan arsitektur sistem, pembuatan Use Case Diagram, pembuatan Class Diagram, pembuatan Sequence Diagram, perancangan basis data, perancangan antarmuka, dan perancangan format sms request. Dua macam pengujian dilakukan terhadap sistem, yaitu uji fungsional dan uji broadcast. Uji fungsional berguna untuk mengetahui kesesuaian antara proses perancangan dengan hasil implementasi. Sementara uji broadcast dilakukan untuk mengetahui kelemahan sistem server sms gateway. Dari hasil uji didapat bahwa waktu yang diperlukan oleh sistem untuk mengirim informasi secara masal dalam satu layanan adalah selama hampir dua menit, yang berarti bahwa sistem tidak cukup tangguh untuk melayani ratusan ribu jemaah. Hal ini disebabkan karena engine sms gateway yang digunakan adalah Gammu. Sehingga pada penerapan riil di lapangan diperlukan engine yang lebih bagus untuk layanan maksimal.

This research overcome the problem of handling the lost/missing pilgrims by developing an information system that involves sms gateway application as a technology that is inexpensive, easy to use, and fast to distribute information. Development of information systems begins with the design of the system architecture, creation of Use Case Diagrams, Class Diagrams, and Sequence Diagrams, and also the design of the database, the interface, and the format of sms request. Two kinds of tests performed on the system. Functional test is useful to determine the suitability of the design process with the results of the implementation. While the broadcast test was conducted to determine weaknesses sms gateway server system. From the test results obtained that the time required by the system to send mass information in the service is for almost two minutes, which means that the system is not strong enough to serve hundreds of thousands of pilgrims. This is because the sms gateway engine used is Gammu. So the real application in the field needed a better engine for maximum service.
