PENGARUH SINKRONISASI BIRAHI MENGGUNAKAN PGF2α TERHADAP RESPON, TINGKAH LAKU, SIKLUS BIRAHI, DAN PROFIL HORMON ESTROGEN SAPI BALI (Bos sondaicus) DI KEBUN PENDIDIKAN, PENELITIAN, DAN PENGEMBANGAN PERTANIAN UNIVERSITAS GADJAH MADA

2014 | Tesis | S2 Ilmu PeternakanThe aim of the study was to investigate response, behaviour, cycle of estrous and profile estrogen hormone of bali cattle (Bos sondaicus) were synchronized by PGF2α. Material samples were 9 Bali cattle at ±3 years of age and the rate of weight were 313,67±20,66 kg. Research method such as; Bali cattle were synchronized by injection of PGF2α with dosage 5 mg per cattle through intramuscular. It was Used synchronization PGF2α that were covered by 2 injection with interval 12 days. The bloods were taken before and after injection PGF2α through jugular vein as much as 3 ml per sample. Then bloods samples were analyzed by estrogen hormone kit that were used method of Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The estrous observation was every day. The study was showed that response 100% estrous after the post injection PGF2α, onset estrous 57:49±0,55 hours/minutes, estrous indication and behaviour such as red vulva, mucus, warm, and standing heat, cycle of estrous was 20,11±1,36 days, the concentration of profil estrogen hormones estrous were 35,69±11,83 pg/mL, and non-estrous 25,16±11,92 pg/mL. Took into data afore mentioned, Bali cattles were synchronized by PGF2α that showed response 100% estrous, onset estrous normal, estrous behaviour normal, cycle period of estrous normal, and the concentration estrogen hormones were increased while estrous.
