KETERAMPILAN PSIKOLOGIS MODEL BK “PROAKTIF”–R UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL GURU SD

Many homeroom teachers cannot communicate very well especially with students. The practical matters show that many teachers tend to have less attention, to have one-way communication, and to lack of support and positive attitude towards the students. This research aimed to improve psychological skills for teacher especially interpersonal communication skill towards student. As one of the means, BK \\"PROAKTIF\\"-R psychological skill training model was given. The untreated control group design with pretest and post-test was used as the design experiment. BK \\"PROAKTIF\\"-R psychological skill training model was the independent variable and interpersonal communication was the dependant variable. The subjects of the experiment were 16 homeroom teachers in SD Muhammadiyah located in the district of Sleman, while the control group had 16 homeroom teachers in SD Muhammadiyah in the district of Sleman. The scale of interpersonal communication was the research instrument. Mixed Anava was used as the data analysis technique. On within-the-subject hypothesis testing above shows the results of F = 54.650 (p<0.05) for interpersonal communication skills. This suggests that there is an interaction between time (pre-test - posttest) and group (experimental-control). This interaction indicates that the changes which happen to the pre-test scores to post-test in both groups (experimental - control) are significantly different. In the advanced test, it describes interpersonal communication changes in the experimental group are significant where MDinterpersonal communication = -16.813 with a value of p <0.05. In conclusion, model BK \\"PROAKTIF\\"-R psychological skills training can improve interpersonal communication for experimental group significantly.The effective contribution of the training can be seen from the value of partial eta square of interpersonal communication as much as 79.8%.
