PEMBUATAN APLIKASI SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS BERBASIS WEB UNTUK MENYAJIKAN POTENSI WILAYAH KABUPATEN PATI

Indonesia development policies nowdays is taken by region autonomy, hence for all the development planning strategies are managed by each region. In planning, implementing, and managing a region, the society have had to take part in it as an effort of society empowerment. The development of Kabupaten Pati are including the efforts to distributing activities of economic, socio-culture, community, and the centers of activities. Those effort need facilities to planning and managing the region development. Information system serving region potential is very appropriate to manage Pati’s potential yield. This application was built to integrate the spatial data with attribute data of potential yield. This application must be supported by technology so it can make the management of the region potential easier and also provide information for the society. This region potential information system was built by utilizing the spatial data from Badan Perencanaan Daerah and the attribute data from Badan Pusat Statistik of Kabupaten Pati. Digital map was prosessed through some stage to produce digital map that could be presented on internet’s browser. Digital map was processed with ArcGis software which then used as a reference in the making of map in MapServer. Attribute data were ordered by using PhpMyAdmin software. The layout of web page interface was made by using Joomla software. This project produces an application that can provide region potential yield’s information in Kabupaten Pati. This system utilizing technology of GIS based on internet. The application shows four main menu including home, region potential, guest book, and contact. In region potential menu there is a submenu which contain potential yield, which are presented in a map with description and graphic. By utilizing internet’s technology so it can facilitate the society to get region potential yield’s information through internet network.
