FAKTOR – FAKTOR YANG BERPENGARUH TERHADAP KUNJUNGAN WISATAWAN KE CAGAR ALAM PULAU SEMPU KABUPATEN MALANG PROVINSI JAWA TIMUR

Kawasan Cagar Alam Pulau Sempu terletak di selatan Pulau Jawa, tepatnya di bagian selatan Kabupaten Malang. Cagar Alam Pulau Sempu memiliki pemanfaatan terbatas, namun saat ini menjadi daerah tujuan wisata bagi masyarakat. Untuk menekan kunjungan wisatawan di Cagar Alam Pulau Sempu, maka diperlukan penelitian mengenai faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kunjungan wisatawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui lokasi mana saja yang menjadi tujuan wisatawan berkunjung, karakteristik wisatawan yang berkunjung, serta faktor-faktor apa saja yang berpengaruh terhadap kunjungan wisatawan ke Cagar Alam Pulau Sempu. wisatawan Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan November 2013 dengan metode survey dan alat ukur berupa kuisioner. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak menggunakan teknik accidental sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 94 responden. Hasil mengenai lokasi tujuan dan karakteristik dianalisis secara deskriptif serta dilengkapi dengan peta kawasan, diagram, dan foto hasil dokumentasi. Analisis yang digunakan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kunjungan wisatawan dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis faktor dengan bantuan software SPSS 16.0 for Windows. wisatawan Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Sebagian besar lokasi tujuan di Cagar Alam Pulau Sempu adalah kawasan pesisir pantai dengan daya tarik utama Danau Segara Anakan. 2) Pengunjung Pulau Sempu sebagian besar berusia muda. Beberapa aktivitas pengunjung yang dilakukan selama berada di Pulau Sempu menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi kelestarian kawasan karena masih rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. 3) Terbentuk empat faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kunjungan wisatawan ke Cagar Alam Pulau Sempu, diantaranya adalah atraksi daya tarik alam dan ketersediaan informasi (26,067%), aksesibilitas masuk kawasan (12,822%), ketersediaan jenis pelayanan/fasilitas (9,406%), dan ketersediaan angkutan (8,321%).

N ature Sempu Island Reserve is located in southern part of Java Island precisely in Malang. Sempu Island Nature Reserve is a protected area with limited utilization, nevertheless Sempu Island becomes one of the tourists’ destinations for recreation nowadays. A research upon the factors affecting tourists’ visits is required for suppressing tourists’ visits in Sempu Island Nature Reserve. This research aimed to find out where is the location which becomes tourists’ destination, the characters of tourists, and what does factors affecting tourists’ visit to Sempu Island Nature Reserve. affect This research was held in November 2013 using survey as the method of research and questionnaire as the instrument of research. The sampling was done randomly and used accidental sampling technique. There were 94 respondents as the samples. The result of the research was analyzed descriptively and was supported with diagram of area map and documentation pictures. The analysis employed to find out factors which tourists’ visit was done using analysis factor with the assistance of software SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Tourists’ The research’s results showed that 1) destination in Sempu Island Nature Reserve mainly was an area of coast with Segara Anakan Lake as the main attraction. 2) The visitors of Sempu Island were dominated by young people. Some activities done by visitors in Sempu Island gave negative impacts to the preservation of area due to people’s low awareness towards the importance of preserving the ecosystem. 3) There are four factors which affect tourists’ visit to Sempu Island Nature Reserve: the natural attraction scenery and information availability (26,067%), the accessibility of the area (12,822%), the availability of facility (9,406%), and the availability of public transportation (8,321%).
