Efisiensi produksi pada sistem usaha pertanian jagung di desa Randuacir kota Salatiga

Teknologi Sistem Usaha Pertanian (SUP) dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan petani sekaligus memenuhi permintaan jagung yang semakin tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh introduksi paket teknologi SUP pasca program SUP terhadap produksi, biaya, keuntungan dan efisiensi usahatani jagung. Penelitian ini menggunakan data Cross-Section dan 60 petani contoh yang terdiri atas 21 petani yang mengikuti program. SUP dan 39 petani yang tidak mengikuti program SUP (N-SUP). Untuk mengetahui pengaruh introduksi paket teknologi SUP pasca program SUP terhadap produksi, biaya,dan keuntungan usaha tani digunakan analisis regresi dengan metode Ordinary Least Square (OLS), sedangkan untuk mengetahui efisiensi penggunaan input digunakan test efisiensi alokatif. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa introduksi paket teknologi SUP pasca program SUP dapat meningkatkan produksi jagung, biaya, dan jugs keuntungan petani. Uji efisiensi alokatif menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi SUP mendorong petani berusahatani lebih efisien.

A package of technology in corn production is designed to increase farmer income with simultaneously trying to meet the increasing demand for corn. The research objective is to study the effect of introduced technology on corn production on yield level, cost, profit, and production efficiency. Cross section data from 60 sample farmers, consists of 21 join the program and the rest did not, were used in regression analysis using Ordinary Least Square method to examine program effect on production level, cost, and profit from corn growing. Input use efficiency was tested using test of allocative efficiency. Result from regression analysis indicated that farmers join the program obtained higher corn yield. Despite the higher cost, greater profit was realized. Allocative efficiency test showed that the package of technology production stimulated farmer to be more efficient.
