IDE-IDE FEMINIS SEBAGAI RESISTENSI TERHADAP KETIDAKADILAN GENDER KAJIAN KRITIK FEMINIS TERHADAP FILM “A HOT ROOF”

Pada awal tahun 1990-an, masyarakat Korea telah kehilangan kekuatan untuk melakukan aksi demonstrasi. Banyak pendemo dari kaum intelek yang memisahkan diri dari lapangan dan organisasi. Perhatian dalam bidang politik dan sosial digantikan oleh masalah dalam bidang kebudayaan. Salah satu perhatian untuk mengisi kekosongan adalah masalah mengenai isu-isu perempuan. Oleh karena fenomena tersebut, pada awal tahun 1990-an banyak bermunculan berbagai macam film yang berhubungan dengan masalah-masalah mengenai isu perempuan. Terlepas dari berbagai keterbatasan, telah diarahkan masalah mengenai kemandirian perempuan yang dituangkan dalam plot film. Namun setelah pertengahan tahun 1990-an, jejak kecenderungan ini disembunyikan. Kemudian muncul lagi berbagai isu mengenai perempuan dengan bahasan yang berbeda. Salah satu karya representatif itu berjudul 개 같은 날의 오후 (A Hot Roof). Pada film 개 같은 날의 오후 (A Hot Roof) digambarkan sosok-sosok perempuan kuat yang melawan ketidakadilan gender pada era kekerasan. Perempuan-perempuan tersebut mengkritik potensi bentuk kekerasan maupun kekerasan kolektif yang dilakukan oleh para laki-laki dengan satu suara. Untuk menemukan ide-ide feminis dalam film ini, penulis menganalisis dialog dan membagi karakter tokoh profeminis dan kontra feminis. Tokoh profeminis adalah tokoh yang menentang adanya ketidak adilan gender yaitu Jeong Hee, Kyeong Seok, ibu Yeong Hee, Ibu Eunju, Ibu Kongju, dan Yoon Hee. Tokoh kontrafeminisadalah tokoh yang mendukung adanya sistem patriarki yaitu Ki Soon, Seong Goo, ayah Yeong Hee dan kepala polisi. Film ini banyak mengungkapkan ketidakadilan gender yaitu kekerasan dalam rumah tangga,subordinasi terhadap perempuan yang membatasi ruang gerak kaum perempuan di dunia luar dan stereotif-stereotif negatif seperti perempuan hanya wajib melayani suami, mengasuh anak dan mengurus rumah tangga dan semua perempuan yang bekerja sebagai hostes dianggap perempuan nakal. Ide-ide feminis dalam film A Hot Roof yaitu keberanian perempuan memilih jalan hidupnya dan usaha transformasi sosial. Pencitraan mengenai perempuan penggoda sekaligus makhluk lemah yang bisa dimanfaatkan oleh lakilaki juga tergambar dalam film. Para tokoh perempuan tangguh yang berani menolak dominasi dan berani mengungkapkan keinginaannya menginspirasi kaum perempuan agar dapat memperjuangkan keadilan gender antara kaum perempuan dan laki-laki.

In the early 1990, Korean society has lost the power to do demonstrations . Many of the intellectuals demonstrators broke away from the field and the organization . Attention to political and social replaced by a problem in the field of culture . One concern to fill the void is a problem concerning women's issues . Because of this phenomenon, in the early 1990 many emerging a wide variety of films dealing with issues concerning women's issues . In spite of various limitations, the independence of women's issues had been directed as outlined in the plot of the movie . But after the mid 1990, the traces of this trend was concealed. Then the various issues of women’s concern appeared with a different matter. The representative one was titled 개 같은 날 의 오후 ( A Hot Roof ). This movie described about the unity of strong women in fighting against gender inequality in violence era. The women criticized the potential of violence structure and collective violence committed by men in one voice. To find the feminist ideas in this movie, the authors analyze the dialogue and divide the actor’s character into Profeminism and Contrafeminism. Profeminism actor is a figure who oppose the gender injustice. The actors are Jeong Hee, Kyeong Seok, Yeong Hee’s mother, Eunju’s mother, Kongju’s mother, dan Yoon Hee. Profeminism actor is a figure that supports of patriarchy system. The actors are Ki Soon, Seong Goo, Yeong Hee’s father and police captain. This movie reveals many of the limitations of gender to women such as domestic violence, subordination of women which limit the space for women in the outside, and negative stereotypes like women only obliged to serve her husband, caring for their child, managing the household, women that live without a husband (widow) and all women who work as a hostess considered as a bad women. The feminist ideas of A Hot Roof movie is the courage of women who can choose their own path and social transformation effort. This movie also tell us about woman’s imaging as a seductive women even if a women is weak creature that can be exploited by men. The strong female characters who dare to resist domination and to express their desire inspire all women to fight for gender equality between women and men
