PRARANCANGAN PABRIK BENZENDIAZONIUM KLORIDA DARI AMINA AROMATIS KAPASITAS 10.000 TON/TAHUN

Pabrik Benzene diazonium klorida dari anilin dengan kapasitas 10.000 ton/tahun dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dalam negeri pada tahun 2016. Benzene dazonium klorida merupakan senyawa aromatis diazonium salt dengan rumus molekul C6H5N2Cl yang dimanfaatkan untuk bahan intermediate industri pewarna tekstil. Berkembangnya Industri tekstil di Indonesia mengakibatkan diperlukannya pembangunan pabrik benzene diazonium klorida. Proses produksi benzene diazonium klorida terdiri dari pelarutan aniline, diazotitasi, dan pemisahan dan pemurnian produk. Pabrik benzene diazonium klorida dirancang dengan kapasitas 10.000 ton/tahun untuk beroperasi secara kontinyu selama 330 hari. Produk benzene diazonium klorida dengan kemurnian 95% memerlukan anilin 99,9% sebanyak 6.895 ton/tahun, natrium nitrit 99% sebanyak 5.371 ton/tahun, dan asam klorida 34% sebanyak 15.997 ton/tahun. Bahan pembantu yang diperlukan adalah air dengan kebutuhan 8150 ton/tahun. Selain itu, diperlukan utilitas yang berupa air sebanyak 10.663 kg/jam dan listrik sebesar 330 kVA. Pabrik akan didirikan di Cilegon, Propinsi Banten dengan lahan seluas 28.830 m2. Jumlah pekerja sebanyak 217 orang. Dari perhitungan evaluasi ekonomi diperoleh Fixed Capital Cost sebesar US$3,616,809.96 + Rp 49.283.276.279,65; Working Capital Cost sebesar US$9,593,342.22 + Rp 11.994.034.875,10; Return on Investment before tax sebesar 36,40%; Pay Out Time before tax sebesar 2,16 tahun; Break Even Point sebesar 52,31%; Shut Down Point sebesar 36,58%; dan Discounted Cash Flow Rate of Return sebesar 22,48%. Berdasarkan evaluasi ekonomi tersebut maka benzene diazonium klorida dari aniline dengan kapasitas 10.000 ton/tahun cukup menarik untuk dikaji lebih lanjut.

Benzene diazonium chloride is an aromatic diazonium salt compound with the molecular formula C6H5N2Cl that is used as intermediate tor textile dye industry. Positive development on textile industry in Indonesia leads to the need to build benzene diazonium chloride plant. The production process of benzene diazonium chloride consists of aniline dissolving, diazotization, and process of separation and purification products. The benzene diazonium chloride plant is designed with the capacity of 10,000 tons/year and operated continuously for 330 days per year. Production process of benzene diazonium chloride with a purity of 95% requires aniline 99.9% as much as 6,895 tons/year, sodium nitrite 99% as much as 5,371 tons/year, and hydrochloric acid 34% as much as 15,997 tons/year. Supporting material required is water as much as 8,150 tons/year. In addition, the utility is required in the form of water as much as 10,663 kg/hour and the electricity power of 330 kVA. The plant will be established in Cilegon, Banten, with an area of 28,830 m2. Number of employees 217 people. Based on the economic evaluation of benzene diazonium chloride plant from aniline with a capacity of 10,000 tons/year is ineresting to be studied further.
