SISTEM PENCARIAN HOTEL DENGAN IMPLEMENTASI LOCATION BASED SERVICE PADA SISTEM OPERASI ANDROID DI WILAYAH KOTA YOGYAKARTA

Kota Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu kota tujuan wisata di Indonesia. Dengan meningkatnya jumlah pendatang baik lokal maupun asing ke kota Yogyakarta ini maka munculah kebutuhan akan tempat penginapan sementara bagi para pendatang. Namun keterbatasan peta kertas dan petunjuk jalan dapat menyebabkan para pendatang yang belum mengenali Kota Yogyakarta dengan baik kebingungan untuk mencari lokasi tempat penginapan. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah Location Based Service (LBS) utuk memberikan informasi mengenai lokasi tempat penginapan. Dalam penelitian ini dikembangkan aplikasi pada perangkat Android yang dapat memberikan informasi mengenai lokasi penginapan pada Kota Yogyakarta. Dengan memanfaatkan Global Potitioning System (GPS) yang terdapat pada smartphone, kebutuhan pengguna terhadap informasi mengenai lokasi tempat penginapan pada Kota Yogyakarta dapat terpenuhi. Terdapat juga pengembangan sebuah server yang akan melengkapi sistem ini sebagai tempat penyimpanan data informasi mengenai penginapan-penginapan pada Kota Yogyakarta. Dari hasil implementasi dan pengujian dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi dapat menampilkan lokasi pengguna aplikasi, penginapan, lokasi fasilitas umum dan dapat menampilkan rute menuju lokasi dengan baik

Yogyakarta is one of the tourist destinations in Indonesia. With the increasing number of local and foreign migrants to the city of Yogyakarta was then comes the need for temporary lodging place for the newcomers. However, the limitations of paper maps and driving directions can cause the newcomers who have not properly recognize Yogyakarta confuse to find the location of the inn. Therefore it takes a Location Based Service (LBS) to provide information regarding the location of the inn. In this research developed an application on Android devices that can provide information on lodging places in the city of Yogyakarta. By leveraging Global Potitioning System (GPS) which is contained on a smartphone, the user need about information of hotel location in the city of Yogyakarta are met. There is also a server development that will complement this system as a data repository of information about lodges in the city of Yogyakarta. From the results of implementation and testing, it can be concluded that the application can display the location of the user application , inn, public facilities, and route to the object location.
