Development of The Feeder Lines for Intregated Transit System: BRT Transjakarta with Feeder (Metromini and Kopaja) (Case Study of JAKARTA and STOCKHOLM)

Jakarta as a metropolitan city, the problem of transportation, especially public transport, is one issue that requires serious treatment.Accordingly are needed the fundamental improvements in public transport. TransJakarta is one solution to tackle congestion dijakarta. Based on ITDP (2013), BRT also plays an important role in the global effort to reduce transport-sector emissions. As emissions from private motor-vehicle use grow, shifting these trips onto public transit by improving the quality and reach of BRT becomes critical. Establishing a quality standard for BRT not only ensures that better projects are built, but that transport sector emissions are reduced. But TransJakarta BRT will not succeed without the support of feeder that transports passengers from places unreachable by TransJakarta. In fact, the role of feeder (metromini and kopaja) is essential for the creation of intregation transport system.Improving transit connectivity is one of the most vital tasks in transit-operations planning. However, there is need for more support so transport efficient. Feeder Transjakarta is one of the important supporting Integrate transport it so thoroughly. This study discussed more about the public feeder. Research method usefull base on secondary data, journals and internet combined become a qualitative research study of the experiences gained in europe feeder and apply to Jakarta feeder. In stockhlom intregation transport system succes as reference, but in this case just explore about feeder BRT.There are 3 (Three) things to note in the development feeder, contract, smart feeder and strategy in feeder. The result of this study shows the key successfull on Stockholm in development feeder among stakeholders in their country, and how that should be applied in Jakarta, according to the experiences. Concept of repair contracts, repair organizations, smart feeder and strategy integration feeder is an effort of good repair a feeder transjakarta. Development of effective feeder cannot be separated from the related stakeholders. Effective feeder that include is Attractive, Reliability, Rapid, Smooth and synchronizes.For its application, it take some theories and rules to be followed by the stakeholders, as a reference in achieving success.
