PERSEPSI KARAKTERISTIK INOVASI ADOPSI TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI STUDI PADA JEJARING SOSIAL EDUKASI GESCHOOL

Praktik berbagi pengetahuan, pengetahuan bisa tercipta secara terprogram lewat interaksi antar orang baik langsung maupun tidak langsung, baik menggunakan media tradisional maupun media global atau Teknologi Informasi (TI). Mengadopsi berbagai kebijakan jejaring sosial untuk kepentingan pendidikan kemudian muncul jejaring sosial dan edukasi Geschool yang dikelola secara mandiri. Situs www.geschool.net, GCM ednovation school, adalah website jejaring sosial yang berbasis edukasi sebagai implementasi adopsi TI dalam inovasi pendidikan. Mengadopsi jejaring sosial seperti facebook, twitter dan lainnya, Geschool merupakan sebuah evolusi belajar yang membawa paradigma baru dalam dunia pendidikan. Karena belum ada kajian tentang karakteristik penggunaan media jejaring sosial dan edukasi Geschool maka penting untuk diteliti. Kajian tentang seberapa besar persepsi karakteristik terhadap adopsi TI dalam media jejaring sosial dan edukasi Geschool juga penting karena akan memberikan masukan yang bermanfaat bagi pengelola Geschool dan memberi harapan para guru dan siswa sebagai sarana berbagi pengetahuan. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan: 1). Untuk mengidentifikasi pola guru dan siswa Geschooler dalam mendapatkan informasi tentang Geschool, waktu yang tepat, rata-rata waktu akses online, menu favourit dan perangkat untuk mengakses Geschool; 2).Untuk mengidentifikasi besaran persepsi karakteristik inovasi guru dan siswa dalam proses adopsi TI pada jejaring sosial edukasi Geschool; 3).Untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan persepsi karakteristik Inovasi antara guru dan siswa dalam adopsi TI pada jejaring sosial edukasi Geschool. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner PCI dari Moore dan Benbasat (1991). Guru dan siswa pengguna Geschool di Indonesia menjadi responden penelitian. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan metode analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis, mayoritas sumber berbagi pengetahuan Geschool didominasi oleh informasi guru/tentor, waktu yang sering dimanfaatkan untuk akses Geschool yaitu saat istirahat atau pulang sekolah, mayoritas pengguna Geschool mengakses dalam sekali akses antara 30 menit sd 1 jam. Menu favorit Geschooler yang paling sering dikunjungi adalah materi pelajaran (gebook) sebesar 86.99% dan latihan soal (gequiz/getrol) sebesar 75.35%, dan perangkat yang menjadi mayoritas untuk akses Geschool adalah Notebook/Laptop dan PC. Rata-rata persepsi karakteristik inovasi adopsi jejaring sosial edukasi Geschool paling tinggi yaitu keuntungan relatif dan kemudahan pengguna. Variabel dapat diujicoba, keteramatan hasil, citra dan kesukarelaan menunjukkan ada perbedaan antara guru dan siswa dalam taraf signifikansi 5% dengan t test.

Because there has been no study on the characteristics of the use of Geschool social networking media and education, it is important to study it. The study on how much the perception of the characteristics of the IT adoption in the Geschool social networking media and education is also important because it will provide useful input for Geschool managers and encouraging teachers and students as a means of sharing knowledge. Purpose of research are: 1). To determine the pattern of teachers and students of Geschooler in obtaining information about Geschool, right time, the average time of online access, and the device menu to access Geschool; 2). Scale to identify the characteristics of innovation perception of teachers and students in the process of IT adoption on Geschool social and education networking; 3). To identify differences in perceptions between teacher characteristics and student innovation in the adoption of IT in Geschool social and education networking. Based on the results of research and analysis, the majority of sources of knowledge to share Geschool information is dominated by the teacher / tutor, Time often used to access Geschool is at rest or after school, the majority of users access Geschool between 30 minutes to 1 hour.
