Sumber daya merupakan komponen terpenting dalam suatu organisasi dalam menjalankan aktifitas bisnisnya. Kesadaran akan kepemilikan sumber daya serta alokasi sumber daya yang optimal sangat berperan untuk mencapai hasil yang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisa sumber daya unik yang dimiliki oleh MM UGM Jakarta saat ini serta untuk memberikan saran kepada pihak MM UGM Jakarta agar dapat memaksimalkan sumber daya yang telah teridentifikasi.Analisis Resource-Based View digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan melibatkan metode kualitatif serta wawancara terhadap stakeholders. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan beberapa sumber daya unik yang dimiliki oleh MMUGM Jakarta adalah: Aset fisik, Human Capital yang berpengalaman, Hubungan baik dengan para stakeholder, Akreditasi A, Brand, Program-program unik, dan kultur.

Resources is the most crucial or essential component within an organization in running its business activities. A realization of resources possession as well as the process of allocating the resources optimally is playing a great role in achieving maximum outcome. A company or an organization must be able to identify possessed resources also effectively organize its resources. Resources is the key to accomplish competitive advantage and profits from Internal perspective, thus they are considered as the fundamental or basis of how the strategy is formed and also as guidance to better business performance rather than focusing more into external environment. Resources which are valuable, rare, inimitable, and well- organized by the firm will have the advantage of becoming a resource of sustainable competitive advantage and produce above average economic returns.
