PABRIK VINIL ASETAT DARI ETILEN DAN ASAM ASETAT KAPASITAS 25.000 TON/ TAHUN

Proses pembuatan vinil asetat dari etilen dan asam asetat berlangsung pada reaktor fixed bed multitube dengan kondisi non-isothermal non-adiabatic menggunakan katalis katalis Palladium CTV-IVTM dengan 1,5 % Pd dan 0,8% Au, menggunakan penyangga berupa silica granules. Reaksi berlangsung pada fase gas dengan suhu 150 oC dan tekanan 9 atm. Pabrik vinil asetat berkapasitas 25.000 ton/tahun ini direncanakan berdiri di Cilegon, Banten, dengan luas areal tanah 5 hektar dan karyawan 210 orang. Pabrik ini menggunakan bahan baku utama etilen sebanyak 16.878,79 ton/tahun dan asam asetat sebanyak 19.331,93 ton/tahun. Kebutuhan akan utilitas meliputi air sebanyak 275.747,9298 ton/tahun diperoleh dari Waduk Cidanau yang terdapat di Cilegon, Banten; steam sebanyak 152.254,67 ton/tahun yang dibangkitkan oleh boiler, fuel oil sebanyak 12.353,26 ton/tahun dan udara instrumentasi sebanyak 665.280 m3/tahun. Pabrik vinil asetat ini membutuhkan modal tetap sebesar US$ 18.787.217,00 dan Rp 67.647.197.900,03, serta modal kerja sebesar US$ 5.102.224,05 dan Rp 3.187.815.941,52. Adapun laba sebelum pajak adalah sebesar Rp 42.306.760.727,32, sedangkan laba sesudah pajak sebesar Rp 21.153.380.363,66. Berdasarkan analisa kelayakan, ROI sebelum pajak sebesar 16,56 %, POT sebelum pajak adalah 3,77 tahun, dengan nilai BEP dan DCFRR berturut-turut adalah 52,05 % dan 17,64 %. Sehingga, pabrik ini tergolong beresiko sedang dan cukup menarik untuk dikaji lebih lanjut.

Process producing vinyl acetate from ethylene and acetic acid takes place in fixed bed multitube reactor at non-isothermal non-adiabatic condition by using Palladium CTV-IVTM catalyst with 1,5 % Pd dan 0,8% Au, using silica granules as the supported material. The reaction occurs in the gas phase at temperature 150 oC and pressure 9 atm. The vinyl acetate plant with capacity 25,000 tonne/year will be located in Cilegon, Banten. It needs area 5 hectare and 210 employees. The plant needs main raw materials of ethylene 16,878.79 tonne/year and acetic acid 19,331.93 tonne/year. The utilities used include water at the rate of 275,747.9298 tonne/year gotten from Cidanau’s reservoir at Cilegon, Banten; steam at the rate of 152,254.67 tonne/year rised by boiler, fuel oil at the rate of 12,353.26 tonne/year, and air for instrumentation at the rate of 665,280 m3/year. The vinyl acetate plant requires a fixed capital of US$ 18,787,217.00 and Rp 67,647,197,900.03, as well as work capital of US$ 5,102,224.05 and Rp 3,187,815,941.52. The profit before taxes are Rp 42,306,760,727.32, while the profit after taxes are Rp 21,153,380,363.66. Based on feasibility analysis, with ROI before taxes of 16.56 %, POT before taxes of 3.77 years, BEP and DCFRR respectively of 52.05 % and 17.64 %, this plant is classified as a medium risk plant and quite good to get further review.
