Mesin press bushing merupakan salah satu mesin yang digunakan untuk proses machining connecting rod. Mesin press bushing melakukan proses pressing/penekanan bushing ke dalam lubang connecting rod. Bushing sering terpasang terbalik pada benda kerja (connecting rod) karena penempatan benda kerja pada jig mesin terpasang terbalik, sehingga benda kerja hasil press bushing terjadi reject/not good. Solusi yang diperlukan untuk mencegah terjadinya benda kerja reject/not good terulang kembali yaitu dibuatkan aplikasi automatic detector bochi connecting rod. Automatic detector bochi connecting rod adalah aplikasi yang didesain untuk mendeteksi benda kerja pada jig apabila benda kerja pada posisi terbalik. Automatic detector bochi connecting rod menggunakan inductive proximity sensor yang dipasang pada jig mesin dan dihubungkan dengan PLC. Hasilnya setelah digunakan automatic detector bochi connecting rod, mesin tidak dapat dioperasikan apabila benda kerja terpasang terbalik. Sehingga pada proses pemasangan bushing tidak lagi terjadi reject.

Press bushing machine is a machine used for machining the connecting rod. Pressing process of bushing connecting rod into the hole by press bushing machine. Bushings is mounted upside down on the connecting rod because placement of the workpiece on the jig machine is mounted upside down, so the result of the work piece press bushing become reject / not good. Solutions are needed to prevent the workpiece reject / not good reoccur is made application automatic detector bochi connecting rod. Automatic detector bochi connecting rod is applicaton designed to detect the workpiece when the workpiece upside down on the jig. Automatic detector bochi connecting rod using a inductive proximity sensor mounted on a jig machine and connect to the PLC. The result after the automatic detector bochi connecting rod is used, machine can not be operated if the workpiece is attached in an inverted position. So, in bushing attachment process, rejection not occur again.
