DINAMIKA HARIAN PENUTUPAN MUARA SUNGAI OPAK PADA BULAN OKTOBER-NOVEMBER

Muara Sungai Opak terjadi dinamika pembukaan dan penutupan yang terjadi sepanjang tahun. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana dinamika penutupan muara Sungai Opak, apa saja dampak positif dan dampak negatif akibat penutupan muara Sungai Opak, dan bagaimana cara mengatasi penutupan muara Sungai Opak. Faktor yang dominan adalah faktor-faktor seperti angin, gelombang air laut, pasang surut air laut, dan musim. Penyebab utama terjadinya penutupan muara Sungai Opak adalah gelombang air laut dan angin. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik ini dipilih berdasarkan tujuan penelitian, maksudnya lokasi pengambilan sampel dipilih berdasarkan perubahan fenomena-fenomena fisik yang terjadi di daerah penelitian karena karakter fisik suatu wilayah dapat dibedakan berdasarkan proses atau fenomena fisik yang terjadi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa pada bulan Oktober-November adalah awal musim kemarau, sehingga kondisi lokasi pengamatan masih dipengaruhi angin dari arah Tenggara dan Selatan, sehingga dinamika penutupan muara Sungai Opak cenderung berbelok ke arah Barat Laut. Dampak positif adanya penutupan muara Sungai Opak antara lain penduduk dapat memanfaatkan bura atau muara sungai tersebut untuk membuat tambak-tambak ikan atau memanfaatkannya untuk menangkap ikan karena permukaan airnya dangkal, mempermudah akses warga untuk mobilisasi. Secara ekonomi, penghasilan nelayan, petani tambak, atau penduduk sekitar meningkat, akibatnya kesejahteraan keluarga mereka juga meningkat. Dampak negatifnya adalah bagian hulu sungai sering terjadi banjir, sehingga ladangdan sawah warga tergenang air. Cara sederhana yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengendalikan penutupan muara Sungai Opak dengan risiko terkecil adalah pengerukan endapan sedimen muara sungai. Pembukaan muara Sungai Opak biasanya dilakukan secara gotong royong atau dengan alat berat.

The main cause of the closure Opak River estuary is tidal wave and wind The method used is descriptive method and sampling was done by using purposive sampling. This technique is selected based on the purpose of research, meaning the sampling locations selected based on changes in physical phenomena that occur in the study area because of the physical character of an area can be distinguished by physical processes or phenomena that occur. Results of this study was that in October-November is the beginning of the dry season, so the condition of sites still influenced wind from the southeast and south, thus closing the mouth of the dynamics tends to turn toward Opak Northwest. Positively impact the closure of the mouth of the Opak include residents can take advantage of the river mouth to make fish ponds or use it to catch fish because the surface of shallow water, facilitate access of citizens to mobilize. Economically, the income of fishermen, fish farmers, or about the population increased, resulting in increased well-being of their families as well. Negative impacts are upstream frequent flooding, so the fields and rice paddies flooded residents. Simple way that can be done to control the closing of the mouth of the Opak with the smallest risk is the dredging of the river estuary sediments. Opak estuary opening is usually done with the mutual aid or heavy equipment.
