Laporan ini menjelaskan tentang Pengelolaan Record Center di Badan Perpustakaan dan Arsip Daerah DIY. Laporan ini menceritakan tentang asal arsip di BPAD DIY, kondisi arsip di record center, sistem pemeliharaan arsip di record center dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam pengelolaan record center.Tujuan penyusunan ini untuk memahami lebih mendalam mengenai pengelolaan record center BPAD DIY. Selain itu juga untuk menerapkan teori-teori kearsipan khususnya mengenai pengelolaan record center sesuai dengan ketentuan dan standar yang berlaku. Metode pengumpulan data melalui tiga tahap yaitu observasi dengan melihat dan bekerja langsung di tempat kerja untu kmemberikan data yang sah, tahap kedua adalah wawancara dengan Dra. Anna NN selaku arsiparis madya dan Bambang Bisowarno pegawai administrasi umum, dan tahap ketiga adalah studi pustaka untuk mengumpulkan literature sebagai data sekunder yang relevan dengan tema tugas akhir. Kesimpulan dari laporan ini adalah pengelolaan record center di BPAD DIY belum sesuai dengan prosedur standar kearsipan. Kendala yang dihadapi seperti sistem, keterbatasan Sumber Daya Manusia, serta sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai karena terbatasnya dana.

This article will be an academic report about the record centre management in Badan Perpustakaandan Arsip Daerah DIY (The record and local library of the DIY). These report will describe the whole process of recording system in DIY. Start from the original records coming from, the current situation of all the records, how to maintenance the records, and also all challenge in keep and protect all records. The main point of this article is to understand more about management and all issues behind in record centre DIY. Other targets of these article is gave us some knowledge about how to applying theories of records particularly regarding the record center management based on standard regulations there. In this article, the reporter used three stages method of collecting data. First, observation and joint work especially to keep the data legitimate for these following report. In Second stages, the author make an interview with some officers (Anna NN and Bambang Bisowarno) and last stages is a study of literature to collect secondary data and others relevant point. As the conclusion, this report tells that the record centre in DIY not conforming to standard procedure chancery. There are some challenges such as, the limited of system operations, human resources, as well as facilities and infrastructures inadequate based on lack of funds.
