PERANAN INDUSTRI RUMAH TANGGA TEMPE DALAM MENGATASI KEMISKINAN DI DESA PONCOSARI KECAMATAN SRANDAKAN KABUPATEN BANTUL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui besar biaya, pendapatan dan keuntungan industri rumah tangga tempe (2) mengetahui penyerapan tenaga kerja oleh industri rumah tanga tempe (3) mengetahui kelayakan usaha dan kendala yang dihadapi industri rumah tangga tempe (4) peran industri rumah tangga tempe dalam mengatasi kemiskinan. Metode dasar penelitian ini adalah analitis deskriptif, penentuan responden ditentukan secara sensus yaitu wawancara semua rumah tangga yang masih memproduksi tempe. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) rerata biaya total sebesar Rp 139.966.917,00/th, pendapatan rumah tangga sebesar Rp 24.812.733,00/th, keuntungan sebesar Rp 6.366.733,00/th (2) R/C sebesar 1,17; π/C sebesar 4,54%; produktivitas tenaga kerja sebesar Rp 110.572/HKO; BEP totalitas sebesar Rp 11.262.175 (3) industri rumah tangga tempe layak untuk dikembangkan (4) kontribusi pendapatan industri rumah tangga tempe sebesar 94,72% (5) peran industri rumah tangga tempe terbukti dapat menyerap tenaga kerja dalam keluarga dan luar keluarga, meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangga, dan mengurangi jumlah rumah tangga miskin.

This study aims to determine (1) the costs, revenues, and profits by domestic tempe industry (2) employment by domestic tempe industry (3) feasibility and constraints faced by domestic tempe industry (4) the role of domestic tempe industry in overcoming poverty. The basic method of this study is analytical descriptive study, the stipulation of respondent was determined by census and interviewed all households that still produce tempe. Data analysis through R/C, π/C, employees productivity, total Break Event Point, indicators of well-being (GSR) and indicators of poverty (Sayogyo, BPS, and World Bank). The results showed that: (1) the average total cost of Rp 139.966.917,00/year, household income of Rp 24.812.733,00/year, a profit of Rp 6.366.733,00/year (2) R/C of 1,17; π/C of 4,54%; employees productivity of Rp 110.572/HKO; totality Break Event Point of Rp 11.262.175 (3) the tempe industry is feasible to be developed (4) the contribution of domestic tempe industry revenues is 94.72 % (5) the role of domestic tempe industry to absorb labor in the family and outside the family, increase household income and reduce the number of poor households.
