PENGENDALIAN MUTU KOMPONEN KEMASAN AQUA 600 ml PT. TIRTA INVESTAMA CIANJUR

PT Tirta Investama Cianjur merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang produksi Air Minum Dalam Kemasan (AMDK). Kualitas produk yang diproduksi oleh perusahaan berperan penting terhadap keberhasilan dalam menjalankan suatu bisnis terutama industri makanan dan minuman. Penerapan pengendalian mutu produk penting dilakukan seperti pengawasan terhadap bahan baku, proses produksi, lingkungan produksi, penggunaan alat dan mesin serta produk akhir. Mengingat bahan baku utama produk merupakan air yang sangat mudah terkontaminasi bahaya dari luar maka perlu adanya pengendalian terhadap mutu produk dan juga pengendalian mutu kemasan. Pengendalian mutu komponen kemasan melibatkan seluruh bentuk komponen yang menyusun kemasan meliputi bakal botol atau preform, tutup botol, label, seal dan karton box. Pengendalian mutu komponen kemasan menggunakan peta kendali p inimeliputi data hasil sampling preform dan screw cap. Terjadi kecacatan komponen kemasan yang diukur pada masing-masing parameter berdasarkan pengukuran dimensional komponen tersebut. Persentase cacat preform pada parameter total height adalah 80%, pada parameter preform mouth inside diameter adalah 33%, dan pada parameter preform mouth outside adalah 33%. Persentase cacat screw cap pada parameter lip diameter adalah 28%, pada parameter total height adalah 16% dan pada parameter top cap thickness at emboss adalah 0%. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran tersebut perusahaan sebaiknya meninjau kembali pemilihan supplier sebagai pemasok yang sudah dipercaya untuk bermitra dengan perusahaan terutama untuk produk yang diukur nilai dimensionalnya untuk kepentingan dimensional mesin khususnya AQUA SPS (small packaging size) 600 ml.

PT Tirta Investama Cianjur is a company engaged in the production of Bottled Drinking Water (bottled water). Quality of the products manufactured by the company is vital to success in running a business, especially food and beverage industry. Application of quality control products such as surveillance of important raw materials, production processes, production environment, use of tools and machinery as well as the final product. Given the main raw material products are very easily contaminated water dangers from the outside it is necessary to control the quality of products as well as packaging quality control. Quality control involves all forms of packaging components that make up the components of the packaging will include a bottle or preform, bottle caps, labels, seals and cardboard box. Quality control of packaging components using the p control chart includes data sampling results preform and cap screw. Defect occurs packaging components measured at each of the parameters based on the components of the dimensional measurements. Percentage of total defects parameter preform at height is 80%, the mouth preform parameters inside diameter is 33%, and at the mouth preform parameters outside is 33%. Based on the results of these measurements should review the company's supplier selection as a supplier that has been trusted to partner with the company, especially for products that are measured dimensional values for the benefit of particular machine AQUA dimensional SPS (small packaging size) 600 ml.
