Tugas akir ini menitik-berkatkan pada pembuatan antena microstrip patch dengan frekuensi kerja 2,4 GHz untuk jaringan Wi-Fi.Antenna mikrostrip adalah suatu konduktor metal yang menempel diatas ground plane yang diantaranya terdapat bahan dielektrik. Antena mikrostrip merupakan antena yang memiliki massa ringan, mudah untuk difabrikasi, dengan sifatnya yang konformal sehingga dapat ditempatkan pada hampir semua jenis permukaan dan ukurannya kecil dibandingkan dengan antena jenis lain, karena sifat yang dimilikinya, antena mikrostrip sangat sesuai dengan kebutuhan saat ini sehingga dapat di-integrasikan dengan peralatan telekomunikasi lain yang berukuran kecil.

This final project is focused on the making of microstrip patch antenna with work on frequency of 2.4 GHz for wireless network Wi-Fi. Microstrip antenna is attached to a metal conductor above the ground plane of which there are dielectric materials. Microstrip antenna is an antenna that has a mass of light, easy to be fabricated, with conformal nature so that it can be placed on almost any type of surface and small size compared to other types of antennas, due to its nature, the microstrip antenna is in accordance with the current requirements so as to in integrating with other telecommunications equipment that is small.
