PERANCANGAN PROGRESSIVE DIES DENGAN PRODUK PENGUNCI HELM (HELM LOCK)

Helm Lock adalah salah satu komponen dari helm yang berfungsi sebagai pengunci yang dipasangkan dengan komponen atau lawan dari helm lock tersebut, yang diproses dengan cetakan (mold). Tujuannya adalah supaya waktu proses produksi lebih efisien . Pembuatan Helm Lock ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Press Tool atau menggunakan proses Press Dies. Tahapan proses untuk membuat Helm Lock ini adalah cutting (Trimming). Proses dari Trimming ini dilakukan sebanyak 4 kali pemotongan dengan kontur yang berbeda-beda dan proses ke 5 adalah proses terakhir yaitu proses cut off atau hasil akhir produk. Jadi untuk membuat komponen Helm Lock ini dilakukan dalam satu tool yaitu dengan menggunakan Progressive Dies dengan jumlah 9 station proses.

Helmet Lock is one component of component that serves as a lock, that is lock with other component of helmet, It made using mold. The goal is to ensure that the production process more efficient. Making helmet lock using press tool or using press die process. Stages of the process to make it is cutting (trimming). The process of trimming is done 4 time cutting with different contour and the fifth process or the last process is cut off or the final product. So, to make this component of the helmet lock is done with one tool, that usingprogressive dies with the number of station process is nine.
