Sangrai biji otomatis adalah alat yang dibuat dengan tujuan membantu proses pengolahan biji-bijian seperti kacang tanah, kacang mete dan kopi secara otomatis. Dalam proses sangrai secara konvensional, seseorang harus terus mengaduk dan mengatur nyala api. Wadah dari sangrai biji otomats ini berbentuk tabung dengan sirip didalamnya dan diputar oleh motor listrik. Sangrai biji otomatis menggunakan heater sebagai sumber panas. Sangrai ini menggunakan triac untuk mengontrol supply tegangan untuk pemanas (heater), sehingga suhu sangrai dapat diatur sesuai nilai suhu yang ditentukan. Sangrai ini dilengkapi dengan pewaktu sehingga lama proses sangrai dapat ditentukan dan sangrai otomatis akan berhenti bekerja secara otomatis saat mencapai waktu yang sudah ditentukan.
