PENAMBAHAN EKSTRAK KUNYIT DAN BAWANG PUTIH SEBAGAI FITOBIOTIK DALAM PAKAN TERHADAP PERFORMAN AYAM BROILER

2013 | Skripsi | ILMU DAN INDUSTRI PETERNAKANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan ekstrak air kunyit (EAK), ekstrak air bawang putih (EABP) dan kombinasi ekstrak air kunyit dengan ekstrak air bawang putih (EAKBP) sebagai fitobiotik dalam pakan terhadap performan ayam broiler. Sebanyak 100 ekor ayam broiler strain Cobb dibagi secara acak ke dalam 20 kandang battery colony. Penelitian menggunakan 5 perlakuan pakan, masingmasing perlakuan terdiri dari 4 ulangan dan setiap ulangan menggunakan 5 ekor ayam broiler. Perlakuan dalam pakan meliputi: (R0) pakan basal, (R1) pakan basal ditambah Zinc bacitracin 0,015%, (R2) pakan basal ditambah fitobiotik EAK 2,5%, (R3) pakan basal ditambah fitobiotik EABP 2,0% dan (R4) pakan basal ditambah fitobiotik EAKBP 2,5% dengan perbandingan EAK dan EABP adalah 1:3. Parameter yang diamati meliputi konsumsi pakan, pertambahan bobot badan, konversi pakan dan bobot potong. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap pola searah dan perbedaan rata-rata dianalisis mengunakan Orthogonal Contrass Test. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa penambahan EAK, EABP dan EAKBP tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi pakan, pertambahan bobot badan, konversi pakan dan bobot potong ayam broiler.
The aim of this riset was studied to determine the effect of water extract of turmeric (EAK), water extract of garlic (EABP) and the combination of the water extract of turmeric with water extract of garlic (EAKBP) as fitobiotic in feed on performace of broiler chickens. A total of 100 Cobb broilers strain were randomly divided into 20 cages of battery colony. The riset were used 5 feed ration treatments, each treatment consisted of 4 replications and each replication using 5 chickens. Treatment in feed rations include: (R0) basal feed, (R1) basal feed plus zinc bacitracin 0.015%, (R2) basal feed plus 2.5% fitobiotic EAK, (R3) basal feed plus fitobiotic EABP 2.0% and (R4 ) basal feed plus 2.5% fitobiotic EAKBP with ratio EAK and EABP was 1:3. Parameters observed were feed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion and weight slaughter of broiler chicken. The collected data were analyzed using a completely randomized design pattern and differences of mean were analyzed using Orthogonal Contrass Test. The results obtained show that the addition of EAK, EABP and EAKBP were not significant (P>0.05) on feed intake, body weight gain, feed conversion and weight slaughter of broiler chicken.
