TERJEMAHAN CERITA ANAK HYAKU MAN KAI IKITA NEKO DAN ARI NO GYORETSU

Tugas akhir ini merupakan terjemahan cerita anak – anak berjudul Kucing yang Hidup Sejuta Kali karya Yoko Sano dan sebuah artikel berjudul Barisan Semut karya Tetsuya Otaki. Dalam menerjemahkan cerita anak dan artikel ini, penulis menggunakan metode komunikatif dan bebas. Metode ini dipilih karena mampu mempertahankan kontekstual yang tepat dari bahasa sumber sehingga isi dapat disampaikan kedalam bahasa sasaran serta mudah dipahami oleh pembaca. Cerita anak – anak Kucing yang Hidup Sejuta Kali menceritakan tentang kisah seekor kucing yang hidup sejuta kali. Artikel Barisan Semut, menceritakan tentang mengapa semut berbaris.

The final project is a translation from children’s story entitled “The Million Times of Cat’s alive” by Yoko Sano and an article entitled “The Line of Ant” by Tetsuya Otaki. Those works are being translated by writer using free and communicative methods. Through those metods, contextual meaning of the source language can be maintained in order to get the understanding of the readers from the content and language is acceptable and well understood by the reader. The story, “The Million Times of Cat’s alive” tells the story of a cat that have been living for a thousand times. The second, article, “The Line of Ant” tells why ants making aline.
