POST-OTONOMI DALAM KELUARGA: ANALISIS TERHADAP BEBERAPA CERPEN PUTU WIJAYA

Setiap manusia secara universal memiliki hasrat akan kebebasan. Hasrat yang jinak akan membawa manusia ke arah otonomi: bebas mengatur diri sendiri dibarengi dengan kesadaran bahwa terdapat hal dalam dirinya yang diatur oleh hal di luar dirinya. Hasrat yang liar akan membawa manusia ke arah post-otonomi: bebas mengatur diri sendiri secara mutlak. Post-otonomi ini telah menjadi endemi di masyarakat masa kini. Hal ini diperparah dengan ditemukannya post-otonomi dalam keluarga. Karya-karya Putu Wijaya, sebagai sebuah “cermin”, menangkap fenomena post-otonomi dalam keluarga ini. Kemunculan dan menghilangnya otonomi dan post-otonomi bersangkutpaut dengan ideologi-ideologi tertentu. Karya-karya Putu Wijaya, sebagai sebuah ideologi dalam tingkatan tertentu, melihat masalah otonomi dan post-otonomi seringkali secara etis, tetapi tidak jarang juga secara relatif, tergantung dari ideologi apa sebuah karya melihat ideologi yang berhubungan dengan dua masalah itu. Penilaian ini sebenarnya tidak lepas dari pemahaman penulis atas idelogi-ideologi yang dibicarakan oleh karya-karya itu yang, tentu saja, pemahaman itu dipengaruhi oleh cara pandang ideologi yang dianut, sebagian besar secara tidak sadar, oleh penulis. Pasalnya, tidak ada praktik apa pun selain di dalam dan melalui ideologi. Berdasarkan teori yang digunakan, penelitian ini menggunakan metode lingkaran hermeneutik, dialektik, dan dualistik. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa ideologi-ideologi tertentu berperan dalam pembentukan ataupun penghilangan otonomi dan post-otonomi. Ideologi besar yang dihubungkan dengan otonomi dan post-otonomi dalam penelitian ini adalah modernisme dan posmodernisme, beserta beberapa turunannya. Namun, tidak berarti satu ideologi tertentu selalu berhubungan hanya dengan salah satu dari dua proses dari dua hal itu. Pasalnya, ideologi-ideologi yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini, dalam kaitannya dengan otonomi dan post-otonomi, terkadang bersifat mendua. Semua cerpen yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini memiliki kecenderungan menolak post-otonomi, meskipun tidak semua cerpen itu menghancurkan post-otonomi di bagian akhir cerita. Dengan begitu, dapat dikatakan bahwa kelima cerpen itu diciptakan melalui ideologi yang melihat bahwa post-otonomi bukan bagian kehidupan yang cantik.

Everyone in a universal manner having a desire to freedom. The benign desire will bring human toward autonomy: free self-regulating accompanied with the understanding that there are thing in him who are governed by a thing out of himself. The wild desire will bring human toward post-autonomy: free self-regulating in absolute. Post-autonomy has become endemic in society today. It was worst by the invention post-autonomy in the family. The Putu Wijaya’s written works, as a “mirror”, catch the phenomenon of post-autonomy in family. The appearance and disappearance of autonomy and post-autonomy associated with certain ideologies. The Putu Wijaya’s written works, as an ideology in a certain level, perceive at the problem about autonomy and post-autonomy, often in an ethical manner but not uncommon also in a relative manner, depending from basic ideology of written works when it see that ideologies that deals with two problematic issues. This assessment is actually not separated from my understanding over ideologies what spoken by written works that which, of course, affected by viewpoint of embraced ideologies, mostly unconsciously, by me. Because, these is no practices anything other than in and through ideology. Based on theories which are used, this research using circle hermeneutic method, dialectical method, and dualistic method. The results of research and discussion show that certain ideologies role in the formation of or the removal of autonomy and post-autonomy. The large ideologies which is connected with autonomy and post-autonomy in this research is modernism and postmodernism, and certain of its derivatives too. However, does not mean that one ideology certain always deals only with one of two processes of those two things. The problem is that ideologies discussed in this research, in relation to autonomy and post-autonomy, sometimes a duplicitous. All of short stories that discussed in this research having a tendency to refuse post-autonomy, though not all of short stories that crushes post-autonomy in the latter part of the story. Thus, it can be said the all of short stories that created through the ideology which considers that post-autonomy is not part of the beautiful life.
