PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PAKAN SUPLEMEN TERHADAP KONSUMSI DAN KECERNAAN NUTRIEN PAKAN PADA INDUK KAMBING PERANAKAN ETTAWA (RAS KALIGESING)

2013 | Skripsi | ILMU DAN INDUSTRI PETERNAKANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan Suplemen Pakan Multinutrien Tanpa Molases (SPMTM) produksi PATIR BATAN terhadap konsumsi dan kecernaan pakan secara in vivo pada induk Kambing Peranakan Ettawa (PE). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai Desember 2012. Sebanyak 10 ekor kambing PE bunting digunakan dalam penelitian dan dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, yaitu kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok kontrol tidak diberikan tambahan pakan suplemen SPMTM sedangkan kelompok perlakuan memperoleh tambahan SPMTM 100 g/ekor/hari dalam pakan konsentrat yang diberikan. Pakan yang diberikan adalah pakan hijauan yang terdiri dari (rumput raja dan legum gamal) dan pakan konsentrat. Variabel yang diamati meliputi konsumsi pakan dan koefisien cernanya terdiri dari: bahan kering, bahan organik, serat kasar, lemak kasar, protein kasar, dan bahan ekstrak tanpa nitrogen. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan independent sample T-test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa suplementasi SPMTM hanya memberikan pengaruh yang nyata (P>0,05) pada konsumsi lemak kasar (LK) (1,88 vs 5,39 g/kg BB/hari) dan pada variabel yang lain seperti: konsumsi bahan kering (BK) (36,20 vs 36,20 g/kg BB/hari), bahan organik (BO) (31,82 vs 33,38 g/kg BB/hari), serat kasar (SK) (9,33 vs 9,62 g/kg BB/hari), protein kasar (PK) (4,96 vs 5,39 g/kg BB/hari), dan bahan ekstrak tanpa nitrogen (BETN) (15,64 vs 16,43 g/kg BB/hari) tidak berbeda nyata. Penambahan suplemen SPMTM 100 g/ekor/hari pada Kambing Peranakan Ettawa juga tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap kecernaan in vivo BK (77,48±6,07 vs 79,51±5,81%), BO (79,29±5,54 vs 81,05±5,39%), SK (78,16±4,94 vs 81,80±5,16%), LK (77,45±9,64 vs 77,82±10,15%), PK (82,15±6,08 vs 83,26±5,95%) dan BETN (79,28±6,88 vs 80,28±6,04%). Hasil analisis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pemberian SPMTM 100 g/ekor/hari tidak mempengaruhi konsumsi dan kecernaan.
The research was done to evaluate the effect of Multinutrient non Mollases Supplement (SPMTM) produced by PATIR BATAN on in vivo feed intake and nutrient digestibility of Ettawa Crossberd Goat. The research started from April until December 2012. Ten pregnant goats were devided into two groups, namely control animals group and treatment group. Control animals group were fed ration without SPMTM while the ration of treatment animals were supplemented with SPMTM at the level of 100 g/head/day. The feed which was used in this experiment were forage (gliricidia and king grass) and consentrate. Variable such as feed intake and digestibility there were dry matter (DM), organic matter (OM), extract ether (EE), crude fiber (CF), and extract non nitrogen (ENN). Statistically the measured variables were analyzed using independent sample T-test. The result showed that only in extract ether (EE) consumption were significantly different (1,88 vs 5,39 g/kg BB/hari) while the other measured variables such as dry matter intake (DMI) (36,20 vs 36,20 g/kg BB/hari), organic matter (OM) (31,82 vs 33,38 g/kg BB/hari), fiber (CF) (9,33 vs 9,62 g/kg BB/hari), crude protein (CP) (4,96 vs 5,39 g/kg BB/hari), and extract non nitrogen (ENN) (15,64 vs 16,43 g/kg BB/hari) were not different significant. Moreover addition of supplement SPMTM 100 g/head/day to Ettawa Crossberd Goat non significantly different (P>0,05) was showed by digestibility at measured variable between treatment and control group for DM (77,48±6,07 vs 79,51±5,81%), OM (79,29±5,54 vs 81,05±5,39%), EE (78,16±4,94 vs 81,80±5,16%), CF (77,45±9,64 vs 77,82±10,15%), CP (82,15±6,08 vs 83,26±5,95%) and ENN (79,28±6,88 vs 80,28±6,04%). It concluded that supplement of SPMTM at the level of 100 g/head/day were still not influence both the consumption and fed digestibility.
