FEMINISME LIBERAL DALAM NOVEL RÊVES DE FEMMES : UNE ENFANCE AU HAREM

Skripsi ini berjudul “Feminisme Dalam Novel Rêves De Femmes : Une Enfance Au Harem”. Objek material dalam penelitian ini merupakan sebuah karya sastra yang ditulis oleh Fatima Mernissi, seorang penulis yang berasal dari Maroko, Afrika Utara. Rêves de femmes pernah mengantarkan Fatima memenangkan Prince of Asturias pada tahun 2003. Novel ini menceritakan mengenai perjuangan perempuan yang hidup di sebuah harem. Mereka menginginkan adanya kesetaraan. Aspek yang diteliti adalah aspek feminisme melalui pendekatan semiotik. Teori semiotik yang digunakan adalah teori semiotik Roland Barthes, dengan menggunakan lima sistem kode Roland Barthes. Lima sistem kode yang dimaksud yaitu kode kode hermeneutik atau kode teka-teki, kode semik, kode simbolik, kode proairetik atau kode aksi serta kode budaya. Tujuan dari penulisan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari serta menunjukkan adanya unsur-unsur feminisme dalam karya sastra. Hasil penelitian ini adalah leksialeksia atau penggalan narasi yang mengandung unsur feminisme liberal dalam Rêves de Femmes serta peran feminisme dalam novel.

This research titled “Feminism in the Novel Rêves de Femmes: Une Enfance Au Harem by Fatima Mernissi an Analysis of Roland Barthes Five Codes System”. The material object of this research is worked by Fatima Mernissi, the writer who came from Morocco, North Africa. In 2003, Rêves de Femmes: Une Enfance Au Harem escorted her to win Prince of Austria award. The novel tells about the struggle of women who lives in a harem and hopes to get the equality in the entitlement. The study maintains on the aspect of feminism with the semiotic approach. The theory used in this research is semiotic theory proposed by Roland Barthes using Roland Barthes five systems codes: they are the proairetic code or action code, the semic code, the hermeneutic code, the symbolic code and the cultural code. The purpose of this research are to identify and represent elements of feminism, in addition, this research aims to express the role of feminism in this novel. Finally, the result of this research showed that \\"Rêves de Femmes: Une Enfance Au Harem\\" contains some elements of liberal feminism and the role of feminism in the novel.
