PEMBERDAYAAN PEREMPUAN MELALUI KEGIATAN KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI KHUSUSNYA HIV DAN AIDS DI DESA HARGO REJO KECAMATAN KOKAP KABUPATEN KULON PROGO (STUDI DI PKBI CABANG KULON PROGO)

PKBI (Perkumpulan Keluarga Berencana Indonesia) Kulon Progo merupakan sebuah lembaga LSM yang berfokus pada kesehatan reproduksi dan kesetaraan gender. PKBI Kulon Progo memiliki 3 program, yaitu pengorganisasian komunitas desa, komunitas remaja sekolah, dan komunitas (waria). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemberdayaan perempuan pada program kesehatan reproduksi khusus HIV dan AIDS yang dilakukan oleh PKBI Kulon Progo di desa Hargo Rejo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Dari ketiga program PKBI Kulon Progo penulis hanya berfokus pada program pengorganisasi komunitas desa. Program ini dapat terlaksana dengan baik dengan memberdayaan berbagai lembaga komunitas perempuan di desa Hargo Rejo dengan peran dan fungsi dalam rangka pemberdayaan perempuan dalam kesehatan reproduksi khususnya HIV dan AIDS di Desa Hargo Rejo. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat partisipasi masyarakat cukup tinggi terhadap program kesehatan reproduksi serta HIV dan AIDS. Dapat dilihat dari kondisi kesehatan reproduksi pasangan usia subur maupun aseptor KB setelah mengikuti program kesehatan reproduksi mengalami perubahan sangat baik, hal ini berarti menunjukkan dampak positif. Dimana diatas 97% pasangan usia subur sudah tercatat sebagai Aseptor KB aktif dan anggota Posyandu, tingkat kematian ibu melahirkan dan anak sangat rendah, tingkat penularan HIV dan AIDS dan penyakit lain juga semakin rendah.

PKBI or Indonesian Family Planning Assosiation of Kulon Progo is an NGO organization that focuses on reproductive health and gender equality. PKBI has three programs, village community organizing, youth school community, and transgender community. This study aimed to determine the empowerment of women in the reproductive health program especially about HIV and AIDS in the Hargo Rejo village. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. From the three programs of PKBI of Kulon Progo, the writer only focused on village community organizing. This program can be well implemented by woman communities in village with roles and functions in order to empower women about the reproductive health especially about HIV and AIDS in Hargo Rejo village. The result at the study show the level of people participation on this program are high. It can be seen that the health of reproductive condition from fertile couples after fowolled this program relatively and it shows the positive impact. 97% of these couples are listed as an active family planning acceptor and as post health member, maternal and child mortality are very low, and the contagion of HIV and AIDS and other diseases are also getting.
